Dinner With Friends
The meat was so wonderfully tender and flavourful after being stewed in a sweet salty sauce. People who like the chewy crunchy texture of soft bone should also be happy because there was plenty to be found in these plump chunks of pork. The focaccia was toasted and slathered with a creamy coleslaw, which made this burger taste a lot like pulled pork with an oriental twist. I loved the dressing for the side salad (you can opt for fries), which had ginger and sesame oil, very similar to the flavours in chicken rice. Loved this burger!
Best pork known to mankind: check. Battered and deepfried till golden crispness: check. Juicy meaty goodness that makes you weak in the knees with each bite: check. Paradise on earth: check, check, check.
Medium rare steak at a coffeeshop in Holland Village. It was a very good meal, nothing beats biting into soft and tender man-food and savouring the juices that flows out of the meat. The sides were great too. For just $15, will definitely come again.
The tender slices of marinated pork belly are good, but the limelight is almost entirely stolen by the incredibly fragrant garlic fried rice ā you can catch a whiff of its mouthwatering pungency before it even reached the table. The well-separated grains of rice are swathed in a delicious aroma of wok hei, making me want to chase every bite with another.
A selection of chicken and lamb kebab, served with rice and salads. Loved the flavors on the chicken. Soft, tender and juicy! Best ordered with a starter. $33.
