Beautiful Spaces
Ironically speaking, it's been a long time since we sat down and just ate and talk. Should do more often.
Never imagined the interior of Boca to look so gorgeous. The ambience here is so on point, it's a perfect setting for a cosy gathering. And of course, the food here will not disappoint.
iO Italian Osteria offers great Italian food in an extremely casual chic setting. With an open kitchen, open ceiling with hipster hanging lights and unpretentious wooden furnishings, this new restaurant basks in natural light from large side windows, providing diners with the ultimate chill ambience. Food is prepared from scratch using fresh high quality ingredients. Find anything from fresh bread baked in-house, plates of Italian street food, pastas, anti-pastas, and mains - which include options like the grilled US rib-eye and codfish in aromatic fish broth. Get some wine to accompany that, and don't forget dessert. Some tiramisu, perhaps?
Excellent grade of beef cooked medium rare, topped with shaven Parmesan, with a side of arugula and fresh tomatoes with pesto are winning combinations, resulting in this perfect dish. I was in heaven- who knew beef and cheese could go so well together? Second time here and looking forward to my next visit again.
Every weekend, Cocotte rolls out their brunch trolley full of savoury dishes and homemade desserts, sort of like a French version of dim sum trolleys, such a clever and novel idea, don't you think? It's $59++ for a free flow brunch, or $99++ with Prosecco. Make sure you go for their signature Poulet Roti, it's exceedingly moist, tender and flavourful. The Croque Monsieur will satisfy those who want something more breakfast-y, and the melt-in-your-mouth Roast Pork Collar is sure to please meat-lovers. Save some space to end your meal off with some decadent treats like the Banana Bread with Chantilly Cream, or the Creme Brulee that's torched tableside!

The charming Café Gavroche (sister of Brasserie Gavroche) is perfect for drinks and small bites in a laid back Parisian setting! When I entered the front cafe, I was greeted by a beautiful built in bar which shows off the French collection of wine and spirits! I walked into the bar to another setting they called 'the sidewalk' but I prefer to name it The Courtyard, as it was bright with natural day light, perfect for my photo shoot. The last setting was the living room or rather the kitchen, which possess a warm feeling like being in someone's home.
