Dessert
Again one of my favorite cafe!
So far they haven't fail mi in the 'cake section'. Never too sweet and the texture of the cake is smooth. Though cake is slightly more expensive (the portion is rather small), it's worth your money and time.
Total damage: ~$20
Some different from the usual apple crumble but it's the same concept. It's well balanced, not too sweet. It doesn't look piping hot when it comes but it is really hot when you start digging your spoons in. So do be careful.
One of the recommedations by the shopkeeper. I will usually take chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream but well this combination is not too bad. Just a little too much chocolate to my liking. The brownie is not too sweet on its own. The milo ice cream is yes milo. Texture is good but just don't have that much of a 'Wow' factor when I eat it. Probably it's my problem. Cost $7.90 so can't complain much. Can drop by after dinner.
One of my favorite dinner place which never fails me. Affordable and good quality food! It may look unappealing but it's not too sweet and the custard is smooth. They offer different flavor crème brûlée, do ask the staff before ordering.
Fluffy waffle with salt caramel almond ice cream. I personally feel that the ice cream is common. The waffle and the molten cake is good. This combo cost $12. Good for 2 persons for a quiet afternoon or dessert.
Affordable and delicious desserts! The lemon meringue is good. A good balance of sweet and sour. It has a lemon taste lingering in your mouth after every mouthful. Sea Salt chocolate tart is again not too sweet and the coffee cream will give it whole dessert a bitter taste to balance it off. I would prefer the lemon meringue when compare to the chocolate tart. But both is good.
Coffee is nice but the lemon meringue is too sweet for mi and my friend liking. Even after removing the meringue, it is still too sweet...it's just a shame...
As what mentioned above, it's just old school. But the waffle is really light and fluffy, which I feel what makes it so nice. The place is wulu but the ambience is good.
New kid in town. The ice is fluffy and the red bean is soft and moist. The ice is different from the Taiwan cousin which is green tea ice, it is regular ice with green tea powder on top. However, you will still be able to taste the green tea throughout. The portion is really big and will be enough for 2-3 pax. Cost: $10+
Sweet with a tinge of saltiness with it! Interesting combination. Will be a nice dessert to choose after dinner.
Very dark chocolatey but it tasted just right. Not too sweet and you can definitely finish one all by yourself. $9.8. Absolutely worth it!
Just discovered this new cafe in the Farrer park area. I usually don't take my coffee with any addition but the coffee is too bitter and acidic. The cafe is rather new so I guess they don't offer choices like skimmed or low fat milk or artificial sweetener. The dessert is cute and it does surprisingly taste good. The environment is quite retro but the walking path is rather narrow because there is a car (converted to a table with seats) when you first step in.
