Bite-sized and coated with addictive 'mala' spice. The crispy and deep-fried strips are well-battered and not too oily with some tender duck meat underneath. Do note that there is more bone than meat and this should be treated as a very light bite snack 》$8.80

Springy noodles submerge in duck broth and topped with juicy duck meat. The taste of the broth was slightly herbal and reminded me of the broth from another duck instant noodle. The duck meat is fragrant, tender and juicy, accompanied well by the sauce and chilli 》$13.80

Delightfully battered and seasoned calamari rings done crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside sans the rubber texture that we sometimes get from other calamari rings 》$8.90

Finger-licking marinated pork ribs that are crispy on the outside and oh-so-juicy inside. Accompanied with a side of greens and mustard dressing. It works well as bites to share 》$22

The slow-cooked pork jowl glazed with miso is deliciously moist with a good ratio of meat and fats, served with tangy apple purée and cabbage.

Served with beurre blanc sauce made from razor clams and sake lees.

The cod was rich and buttery 🤤 with the creamy sauce and wine adding complexity to this dish.

Plump Hokkaido scallop seared only on one side, accompanied with ragout made with ramson, fava bean, asparagus and kailan.

The creamy and earthy flavours from the greens goes well with the plump and pan-seared scallop.

Instead of the usual noodles, the chef here decides to use Capellini pasta drizzled with truffle and crustacean oil along with tiger prawns served in a casserole. The noodles were soaked with umami flavours from the broth and this has got to be my favourite among all the dishes I tried at QĪN 》$48

Tender Kurobuta pork rack done to a nice smoky flavour, accompanied with crunchy seasonal vegetables and juicy salsa. I find the pork was a little dry and it would be better if I was juicier but I’m glad the garlic Pommery mustard sauce helps with the overall texture 》$48

Served with a side of crostini is this creamy avocado mash topped with pomelo, shredded chilli crab meat then finished off with a layer of chilli crab jelly. The flavour complements well altogether and a refreshing starter to go although the portion may be a little small for the price 》$20

The thunderclap roti prata is a creative and interesting take on the Indian flatbread pan-fried till crispy on the outside and fluffy inside then topped with truffle paste and bits of eggs mimosa that gives a savoury and eggy flavour 》$12

The thunderclap roti prata I tried comes with truffle and eggs mimosa but they also have another choice of flavour (Black Garlic Emulsion) for those who are interested to try.
