Watch the cheese melt in the process and the sight was so visually enticing!
Consisting prawn, salami, capsicum and assorted mushroom, the overall pizza was dry and thick. The layer of ingredients tears easily away from the base, and the edges were not consistently crispy.

As I was thinking what should be my first post in 2016, I have decided to post my ritual whenever I cafehop - and that is to order a cuppa coffee!
Featuring the Totoro on a Rose Latte ($7, and top up of $1 for 3D art)! I made a request under ‘special request’ for the types of art that I wanted, but I was told that we were unable to do so as the barista will decide for us. Surprisingly, the barista surprised us with our request and she shared with me that it was her first time doing Totoro, as her head barista was not around. Ace for effort and thanks for making my day!
TOO CUTE TOO CUTE, I CANNOT. I stared at it for at least 10 minutes before I bear to sip bits by bits. Totoro seems to be saying ‘NOOOO, don’t destroy me.”
Do note that there is an estimated waiting time of 15 minutes for 3D or draw latte art.

For their Original Churro ($4.50) dusted with cinnamon sugar, you can opt for separate dips (additional 50 cents) namely Blueberry, Milk Custard and Dark Chocolate.
My favourite would definitely be Dark Chocolate, as it elevated the creaminess and richness of the churros. Dip it into the luscious Dark Chocolate sauce to create a divine!
Officially open on 18 December, you can celebrate their grand opening specials and enjoy a complimentary Original Churro ($4.50) with any churros purchase. This offer is available on 18 December, 10am to 9pm!

The signature U-shaped 50cm long golden beauty marks the longest churro in Singapore, yet. Dusted with cinnamon sugar, the right temperature and timing were put in order to achieve the golden brown exterior with a great crisp! Despite the crisp, it was not over fried and the interior remains pillowy and chewy!
This offer is available only today from 10am to 9pm. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!

My favourite blend of the day ($4.50) - with only slight acidity and strong body. Memorable aftertaste even when you had only 1 to 2 sips!
Finally met @tomodachichingoo who kindly brought along coffee beans for us to try, as well as truffle salt + minion biscuits for me!
Seems like it is IG meeting today, got to meet @fundamentally_flawed, @mister_sim and @melvyn_caffeine !
Caffeine overdosed on a Sunday!

My favourite is definitely the Ondeh Churros ($5 for 3 pcs), localized flavour incorporated in Ang Moh dessert! I was smitten by the aromatic pandan-flavoured churros, doused with devilishly good gula melaka sauce and fresh grated coconut. The good old traditional kueh can be reinvented to such modernized version and yet achieving the same unforgettable taste.
Look out for their opening at Orchard Central tentatively set on 29 Dec 15!

They will be giving out 100 pcs of Ninja Wings tomorrow (22 Nov)!
As a kid-friendly place, The Holqa Café has conscientiously developed Ninja Wings (3 pcs – $5; 6 pcs – $9; 9 pcs – $12), a sweet version of their signature wings without the spicy element.
Embellished with their homemade sweet and savoury sauce, the sauce was more apparent than their SnS-version as you could additionally dip your wings with more sauce.
A group of us jokingly agreed that the texture of the sauce was similar to the sweet fillings within the Chinese Horseshoe Biscuits!
Do note that there is no minimum purchase required and this is only applicable for dine in only. Each person is limited to 2pcs!

My favourite would definitely be the exotic Peanut Butter Space Jam Wings (3 pcs at $5; 6 pcs at $9; 9 pcs at $12) - crispy fried chicken with peanut butter jelly jam dip sauce.
If you are expecting it to taste like the usual sweet and chunky peanut butter sauce, you will be surprised that it tasted more like local Rojak with a sweet and sourish after taste! Sourish taste is due to strawberry jam and orange juice, and I was like WHAT, STRAWBERRY JAM?
Sounds weird but trust me, I love it! A taste that you probably never had it elsewhere, but I simply love the intense sauce which complements well with the juicy chicken!
OH! As part of their re-opening on 21 Nov 2015, Holqa Cafe will be giving out 100 FREE SNS-Ji Wings on Saturday and 100 FREE Ninja Wings on Sunday! You can redeem MAX 2 wings per pax, and there is no minimum purchase required. Applicable for dine in only, so get your friends and families to celebrate their happy occasion!
Thanks @theholqa for the hosted meal!

Still suffering from the damn flu, wish i can the Hungarian Beef Goulash Pot Pie ($14.50) - simmered for more than five hours!
The pungent Goulash was rich and lies somewhat more like a sauce, and the main ingredients include beef and paprika. The comfort food was satisfying with tender and sumptuous beef cubes.
Thank you @piesncoffee for the hosted meal!

Featuring the Cafe Latte ($5) with the 'fast and easy latte art' as demonstrated by Chef Shaun, and he personally prepared the coffee!
How much I wished for 1 now. Can't wait for D&D to end, the week is too busy to handle.

The crisp-on-the-outside churro was too chewy and could do better by cutting down on its dough. Peanut cream cheese filling was an uncommon savoury condiment, and it surprisingly works well with churro!
It is encouraging to see that there is a breakthrough from the usual dips such as chocolate and caramel.
