The menu at Little Bastard is succinct, with a list of just 10 dishes to choose from. Dishes are interesting though, with an Asian fusion element in each, and one of our favourites was the Kaeng Phet Mu ($24). Bouncy, tender 14hr sous vide Iberico pork collar with a Thai red curry thick gravy on the side. The flavours of the curry were on point, and were deliciously robust. We proceeded to mop the plate clean with bread even after we'd gobbled up the meat.

The Roast Duck with Red Curry is one of my favourites, with its delicious coconut-y flavour that is well-balanced with other spices. For chilli padi lovers, challenge yourselves with the "normal" spicy tomyam soup that will give you that powerful kick to make even the most seasoned chili fans sweat πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ”₯ #burpple #thai #redcurry

Our server warned us that the famous beef brisket ($11.90) was unfortunately a bit hard that day as it just came out of the fridge, so I opted for the Short Ribs noodle soup ($12.90) instead. Slices of shabu shabu beef that were just slightly pink, with your choice of noodles (and they had plenty!). The highlight definitely had to be the soup which had the right balance of savory and herbs, though I felt it was too oily and should've opted out of pork lard. #burpple

I was torn between the shibuya toast, or the more manageable golden toast, and I would've ordered both if I had my way πŸ˜‚ decided to go for the latter in the end - Golden Toast with Taro Kaya ($4.20), which came in little bite-sized delights, crisp and toasty, which went so well with the fragrant yam-scented spread. I'll be back for more! #burpple #dessert #dessertporn

πŸ˜‹ I liked how the noodles came with the option of #boatnoodles portions ($1.90 each), which gave me the chance to try the different varieties available! And it may look small, but we were stuffed after it. It was a close fight between the Tom Yam and Beef Noodles, both of which had really flavourful broths. The tom yam was wickedly appetizing with a tangy, slightly thicker-than-normal broth, and if you order the regular size for the Beef Noodles ($8.80), you'll be rewarded with a very generous bowl of stewed beef, beef slices and beef balls. Aroi mak mak! πŸ‘πŸΌ #burpple

With an extensive menu to choose from, you will be spoilt for choice at ParaThai! Recommended items include their Duck Red Curry (which was much more impressive than their green curry), Thai Chendol, Minced pork in rice noodle paper, Red Ruby dessert among many others 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Food was tasty enough but portions were TINY for the price. Unlikely a place I would return to 🌟🌟

For those who enjoy fiery thai food, this is THE place to go! The level of spiciness is not for thr faint-hearted, but we enjoyed them all. Recommendations: tomyum soup, pandan chicken, pineapple fried rice, green curry | β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…

Bite-sized *burps* on the go. More foodporn on the blog ;) IG: xuannykelly
