Overhyped

That's half a tub of B&J's right there. There's a faint aftertaste of lavender to the soft serve but the earl grey overpowers the entire thing I found this quite hard to enjoy. I'll stick to Creamier instead. #burpple #marshmunch

The cool thing about Ippudo is how you can choose how hard you want your noodles prepared but aside from that there really is nothing worth shouting about. I like Santakou/Musashi better. #burpple #marshmunch

I tried having cake pops and I couldn't even bite into them cause they were too damn hard -_____-

This east meets west creation sounds rather fancy but it's all talk and no substance. The salted egg yolk was just awkward with the sweet potato fries. I completely didn't get how the tastes were supposed to work in tandem. #marshmunch #burpple

The batter is crisp and doesn't taste dry like flour. I just find it a bit pointless cause the chicken isn't seasoned at all. Chir chir is still better than chicken up though. #marshmunch #burpple

It's heartening to know that a lot of cafes are opening up in the east. It's sad to say though the ice cream here was really terrible. It tasted incredibly artificial, excessively aired and kinda like Magnolia's vanilla ice cream. It would be fine if this was priced less steeply but at $13 a plate I expected a lot more. #burpple #marshmunch

And paying $18 for this. The Yakuniru has excellent marbling and is tightly scorched - it goes nicely with the truffle Soya sauce rice. I quite like the slightly bloody taste to my beef actually. Mix the Onusen egg in for a comfy blend of textures. I do think the concept is quite novel but not drawing enough for me to come back for it again. #marshmunch #burpple
