Two Men Bagel House at Icon Village now does daily sweet bakes like this sugared donut stuffed with a rich chocolate filling. Which I gobbled down in two minutes flat.

Stuffed to the brim with 2 types of ham (Black Forest + Honey Baked), Comte, Brie, Sweet Caramelized Onion Jam and Lemon Mayo. I went on and had them stuff additional slices of Avocados in there, all snug within their freshly baked Garlic Bagel. Those Garlic Bagels are amazing. Studded with garlic crispies on the top, and I’ll say, best consumed right there and then.
Also! It’s been awhile since I’ve visited this @twomenbagelhouse outlet within Icon Village, must say I’m really digging the loud music, vibes and their warm enthusiastic greetings from the team there.

Tasty massive meal on its own! Boils down to the simple things done right. Felt almost like 3 whole eggs per serving were used to make those fluffy scrambles, sandwiched between savoury slice of cheese, 2 strips of turkey bacon, an important slather of their secret tomato sauce within the toast (which you can’t see here), and both sides of the toast given a nice sear on the hot plate together with some compound butter.
Best consumed immediately after purchase, otherwise toast would turn soggy amidst all that condensation and it’ll be all for naught!
Contrary to most Korean Egg Stops, our local joints are catered for takeaways only and therefore there are no seating areas available for dine-ins.

It’s no secret that this renowned Bali bakery has entered our Singapore scene and nestled itself within a very unassuming spot along Havelock Road.
They have a relatively aged starter resulting in more sour tasting breads, although, they do compliment really well with their open-faced toast/sandwich combinations (think Meaty Mushrooms, 3-Cheese, Avocado Bawang).
Favourite Posh Toast was this sweet variation with their housemade Mascarpone, Walnuts, Bee Pollen and Black Sea Salt. I’ve always preferred more spreads, so I wished there was a thicker schmear of Mascarpone that I could sweep up with that beauty of a crust though.

For good sandwiches where they bother toasting your breads. The second brainchild from the same dudes behind Park Bench Deli, bringing you less grubby sandwiches, but good and juicy nevertheless.
This vegetarian friendly option, filled with roasted peppers, broccoli, some caramelized onions, oyster mushrooms and a slice of pepperjack cheese; had us satiated even without meat.

Every time I think they've recreated the best sandwich, it always tastes better on my next visit. Every, single, darned, time. Yeap, I'm also talking about that signature thick double layer of creamy peanut buttery spread lovingly smooched between both chocolate and milk loaves, armoured with crushed cornflakes.. then the sweet jam creeps in and smacks that ball way outta the park. So looking forward to my next visit 😁

Thick honey toast slathered with garlic butter and grated cheddar, toasted till the cheeses melt and the buttery goodness seeps into the crumb, then finished with a generous squeeze of nacho cheese. I don't exaggerate, it was a comfort food party in my belly. The dude who came up with this probably took whatever he had in his fridge one night and put them together, but hey, it works wonders.
My immensely satisfying full-on carb lunch at @caffebenesg; merely a couple of weeks old at VivoCity, complete with a wooden deck and partial view of the waterfront. If this is any indication of what cafes are like in Korea, I need to make a trip there soon!! 13.9bucks/garlic&cheese toast

That's the Parisienne: my double stacked French Toast stuffed with leg ham and Gruyere, buttery Hollandaise, not forgetting the duo of Sunny-sides and a generous portion of well-dressed Arugula.
They've expanded; their cafe could easily seat 60-70 buttocks at any one go and it's super spacious. Food's way better than I remembered it to be, great service too!
If you've been disappointed, it's actually worth another visit folks 👌🏻

First taste of @candlenutsg @malcolmleeee's dish for the upcoming Wine Fiesta happening late next month. Slabs of Caramelized Pork Cheeks sandwiched between the lips of these fluffy white mantous and the Peranakan twist? It's finished with a Lemongrass-Blue Ginger Soy Glaze.
The local chef mix this year also includes my bossman @bjornshen of @artichoke_sg @birdbirdsg, Matthew Mok of @therabbitstash and Cheryl Koh of @tartebycherylkoh.
