Travel Stop: (Cycling-Zone) Copenhagen
Slices of roasted Danish beef, served with onion relish, rocket salad, gherkins, and oyster mayonnaise. Apparently, the mayonnaise is whipped with fresh oysters (not sure how that works).
I got this as part of the 'Tivoli All Inclusive Pass' which entitles you to 1 meal at selected restaurants, and the above was a menu description. After carefully weighing my options, I have to say that I made the best choice. Bidgr Price was decorated with gorgeous interior, and wifi was available as well.
But of course, the dish itself was really nice; the roast beef was absolutely not dry but super tender and flavorful without being overpowering. The blend of condiments worked really well together with the sweetness of the relish, to the sourness of the gherkins (more like capers to me), and the creaminess of the mayonnaise mixed with the freshness of the greens. All these put together on top of a piece of Danish smørrebrød. I thought they put a bit too much mayonnaise, but hey it's whipped with oysters so I'm not complaining; I still didn't finish the sauce.
After comparing some of the prices around the park, I'd say that this is probably the best place to dine in Tivoli, relative to the other dine-in restaurants.
Hearty: 3.5/5
Tasty: 5/5
Worthy: 3/5 (things are expensive in Denmark)
A classic Danish hotdog bought inside one of the small stalls in Tivoli. Very average tasting with very small portion. For a cheaper price, get a kebab pita at the 'I lov it food' fast food store.

Lightly fried cod, homemade remoulade and fries, wrapped with Danish newspaper.
I don't care what people say about how good this is but I was astonished at the small portions and the price. Remember if you want to try, go to the Deli which serves takeaways and get it at 80 DKK. The quality of the fish was super fresh and nicely battered, the homemade fries were not too oily, and the remoulade was not flavorful but not heavy.

Great prices, great selections, and great food (for the price) - grab a nice tummy filling buffet for less than 20 SGD! Don't order a drink though, even water would set you back 20 DKK. Fill your bottle from the tap in the toilet, Danish tap water tastes like Evian anyway.
Torvehallerne market, where you find grocers and food stalls confined within two glass houses.
The salmon wrap (30 DKK) was surprisingly big with ample amounts of garlic cream cheese smothered on the insides of the wrap, giving it a nice a lift in flavor. Fish cake (15 DKK) was served cold.
Grab a cup of coffee at Coffee Collective, who makes much superior coffee compared to their counterparts within the market.
Humongous portioned pizza in this Italian joint near the Amagerbro residential district. Down side was that the meat was rather tough. Up side was that the crusts were thin and crispy, yet super filling. Try a different flavour, perhaps a more familiar flavour like Hawaiian.
Found on a food truck near the Little Mermaid statue; this pork sandwich was filled up with cabbage, pork, and creme sauce 3 times on top of some pita bread. Deliciously lovely!

"I love eating. But I hate getting fat. I love eating. But I only want to eat the best. I love eating. But I'm reluctant to spend too much." The above are a few paradoxes that describe my love-hate relationship with food. Yet at the same time they define my principles for choosing the places which I love to eat: 1) Hearty 2) Tasty 3) Worthy (of my money)
