MUST-GO CAFES👅
By the same people behind Assembly Coffee comes Atlas Coffeehouse, an expansive, lofty Bukit Timah cafe decked out in marbled tiles and deep sea blue walls. Great for both quick coffee runs and long, lazy brunches, sail by for a Flat White ($4.50) and start the day with a relaxing read by the window bar. For brunch, get the ATLAS Super-Bowl ($17), a healthy yet tasty grain bowl filled with toasted quinoa, roasted squash and zucchini and tender peanut sesame pulled chicken. For more classic brunch flavours, go for the Creamy Mushrooms on Sourdough ($12) — a generous heap of mushrooms cooked with a splash of white wine and sundried tomatoes, which you must pair with the silky smooth Scrambled Eggs ($3 for add on). For dessert, we favour the Mixed Berries Compote Waffles ($12.50) over the pancakes — they are similar in taste but the former is lighter and more affordable. Pro-tip: It gets a little crowded at lunch time, so it's best to pop by around 11am.
Avg price: $25 per person

Tried this oh-so-instagramable drink from @dappercoffee the other day. As expected from a sparkling blue drink -- tasted as unique as it sounds [no alcohol, no caffeine] 👌 #shaketosparkle

Last Saturday, we went to Knots which is so pretty as it's filled with flowers, plants and natural light. Plus they have furniture for sale too! Not much selection so we went for Banana Gusto ($9.90), basic waffle topped with a mint and chocolate ice cream plus coffee for perk me up. There's definitely room for improvement though.
One of the best toast in SG?!!?! They really have quite a number of different dessert like waffles & toasts! The toast was sooooo crispy even after 5 minutes of getting "soaked" by the ice cream 👍🏻 The cookies & cream icecream was really good too!!!
At $17 for Shibuya Toast and double scoops of ice cream, it's certainly pricy. But I would say this is one of the better Shibuya Toasts I've had in Singapore, crisp at the edges and perfectly buttered. Was not a huge fan of the Oreos and marshmallows though, fruits would probably taste better. Ice cream was creamy and not too sweet as well. I will be back to try the lava toast!

Head down to @scapesg to visit them!
You'll love it as much as I do!
Heard that they'll be having Mentaiko Lava Toast soon! I can't wait😱😍🎉🎈
Happy September 🎈 Finally tried the Charcoal Lava Toast with Thai Milk Tea Sauce and Thai Milk Tea Ice Cream ($14.90) from @meetandmelt 's new outlet at Scape! We chose Thai Milk Tea Ice Cream and the Thai Milk Tea sauce because why not go all out?? 😋 Steaming hot sauce flowing out from the charcoal toast, and with the combination of a colddd scoop of ice cream, it was pretty good! However, it was a pity how the sauce made the charcoal toast soggy on the inside and hence gave it a weird texture 😩 The Thai Milk Tea Ice Cream was also a little icy, but definitely had a strong flavour. Honestly, I'd still prefer the Ferrero Rocher Toast ($12.90), which was buttery throughout, and crisp on the outside fluffy on the inside. The texture of that toast just made me melt!!

We waited for pretty long for the toast to arrive, and the staff actually got our order wrong (they made Thai Green Milk Tea sauce instead), but they gave us a scoop of Dark Chocolate on the house (!!!) which was really thick and OMG it was pretty damn good 😍
I must say they are really very creative in inventing new flavours and they are REALLY GOOD 😍 The flavourful mentaiko sauce matches perfectly with the toast and the additional Seasalt Gula Melaka Ice Cream gives a super addictive salty+sweet sensation!
Tomorrow (3/9) is their official opening day, do come down to try their new toasts!😉
bubble-tea in a lightbulb for $3.
Oddly though all the pearls were clumped together at the bottom of the bulb and I had to seperate them one by one 😅 The Thai milk tea itself wasn't too sweet and at $3 with pearls, it's wallet friendly! I need to grab more of these the next time I'm in the tai seng region and no joke, Go radar shows a gyrados that spawns at 1 Irving Place in the afternoons 😂
all the more to gather your Muslim frens to brunch here. prolly one of the better halal brunch places in Singapore
see the prawn paste chicken waffle? that deliciously tossed beef cheek pasta? all these here at hyde
happy brunching folks
