Malaysia Can!
Situated at shop 243 Jalan Kayu this shop sells Ipoh styled roast meat and a variety of dishes. The roast duck drumstick rice cost $6.50 and I just can’t resist trying the char siew ($2). Both items were good. Char siew was roasted very well and it’s lean and fat which is great to have. The roast duck was flavourful and tender. Really worth the money. Overall it’s a good lunch.
Though not as good as some curry mee in Malaysia this is better than a lot of curry mee in Singapore. Very lemak curry with chicken, pig skin and tau pok. Very yummy.
Love Malaysian curry noodles? Then you must try this if you’re in or near Yishun. For $6.50 I had a big bowl of Malaysian curry noodles full of ingredients such as 2 medium sized prawns, slices of roasted pork, clams, dried pork skins etc. The curry is definitely Malaysian style so don’t expect it to be lemak like ours. The distinct smell of rempah is very appealing to the taste bud. Interestingly there’s a dry version of the noodles. Hmmmmm wonder if it’s good?
Very well done crispy duck eaten with man tou adding sweet sauce. A very interesting combination. It's like eating suckling pig and kong bak bao. Eating the duck alone is also yummy. Wish we can have this Singapore. 👍👍👍
My favorite go to satay place in Malacca. The pork and intestine satay is still unique. The sauce is made of peanut and pineapple. Try it when you come here. 👍👍👍
A new stall here in Serangoon Gardens FC serves a surprisingly refreshing mee sua covered by a spicy, sweet and sour sauce that's similar to a watered down version of chilli crab sauce. The lala are fresh and you get a bowl of soup that tasted like seafood soup. I'll come back to try the prawn noodle. Only set back is the price. The lala noodle cost $7 but the ingredients are really fresh and sauce tasty. 👍👍
Believe it or not this fish is completely deboned and the meat is used as the stuffing of the fish. It's fried and served to be eaten boneless! It's very good with its stuffing firm and tasty. Yummy yummy yum yum yum! Posted by Ah Leong San 2016 November 12
