Rich and hearty. The sauce is a little on the sweeter side but the little pork meatballs hidden within provide balance with a nice fennel kick and savouriness. Cavatelli has been appearing on many menus lately and I'm glad - it's one of my favourite pastas. Nice chew on the one here.
Back in this pretty place. Pasta was a little past al dente but that didn't stop us from enjoying the dish. Generous with the crab meat and a more than decent seafood sauce. Light but satisfying. Yum.
Pappardelle was spot on al dente with a lovely bite. Very tasty, but that oomph factor was missing...
Excellent dish - al dente linguine, a very savory seafood bisque and generous amounts of seafood. Also liked that it was not a creamy sauce, yum.
Nice bite to the pasta. Really liked the sauce as well, and the fact that there were chunks of fresh crabmeat. But my favourite part was actually the yellow squash - it provided a sweet and crunchy contrast. I could eat an entire dish centered around that squash.
I say pasta instead of strozzapreti as is indicated on the menu because we weren't served strozzapreti - it was tagliatelle (I think!). Dishes like this are why I love freshly made pasta - this had a great bite. Generous amount of oxtail and a rich sauce that coated the pasta well = winner.
Cedele is so underrated sometimes. This is one of my favourite dishes - the pasta is well-salted and al dente, the veggies retain crunch, and the pesto on that huge slab of fish is super refreshing and yummy.
