Had the highly raved China Whampoa Handmade noodles. After trying both L32 and this one, I figured I don't like dry ban mian. But the noodles here are qq and the soup quite light and tasty. Most importantly the chili damn shiok! I'll definitely come back to try the soup version. Don't like my noodles drenched in black sweet sauce :(

From top: Ginseng, Foie Gras, Black Truffle, Cheese, Crab roe, Garlic, Sze chuan and original. These colourful xlb would easily made one's day but it's nothing more than a visual feast. Taste wise there's really nothing special and I would rather have a basket of 8 normal xlb

Wonderful caramelized char siew from Char. Very different from the usual char siew that we get from hawker centres. This is sweeter and melts in your mouth. Truly curry rice - a hawker stall run by gen Y hawkers. Limited choices and curry is weirdly sweet. 😕 Will choose scissors cut any time.

KL's supposedly best pan mee now has a branch in singapore. Honestly I think it's overrated? There was nothing special about the noodles nor the chilli. Tried out a new thai place because a long queue was spotted at Nakhon even before it opened. This place had a steady stream of customers visiting but I thought the food weren't that authentic. It tastes alright..just not authentic, I felt.

Supposedly famous for their KFC but I find their chicken too dry. Definitely prefer 4 fingers! Any recommendations for KFC?
