Another lunch place at The Intermark is Fresco where they can also cook the meat you bought from Jaya Grocer. However, for a quick meal, check out their display of choices. I'd usually go for the roasted chicken but for the days where I'm a little lazy to pick out the bones, chicken parmigiana with mash it is! (RM16)

Located right next to Lam's Kitchen at The Intermark (non-halal section) is Mum's Kitchen where you can order pao and dim sum if you're feeling like having something light for lunch. Look at how smooth the kaya is for this pao!

Friday nights in Changkat call for a beer gathering and a bowl of crackling pork to munch on because no beer party is complete without a bowl of two. Draught beers range from RM18-26 per glass.

For a little mid-day boost, have a cup of coffee here at Coffee Club and pair that with a light dessert like the lemon tart. The tea time promo goes for RM14 for a cuppa and any dessert on display.

Kyochon makes 3 promises to its diners:
1) To never, ever serve fast food
2) To use 100% natural ingredients
3) To use only the freshest, healthiest chickens.
The Sal Sal Wrap (RM14.9) with fried chicken in the middle certainly didn't disappoint. It took a minimum of 15 minutes to arrive because they believe in taking time to make their food. Hence, the need to slightly lower our expectations.

Been here twice and have only ever tried this dish both times for obvious reasons - it's my personal favorite and I love slowly slurping on the soup-like sweet sauce! RM19.90 for pork cutlets in sweet sauce and egg is honestly worth it considering that it comes with rice, soup, and free flow salad and sesame dressing. Wash it down with a glass of beer and you're good to go!

Suki Hainam Chicken Rice in Taman Supreme caters to those who would like to have a quick, simple chicken rice meal whether alone or with a group of people. For RM6, they sure are generous with the amount of chicken given. The rice is brown with slight "wok hei" unlike the usual gingery type. A small portion of beansprouts is available for RM3 - fried in a wok rather steamed, a great compliment to the chicken rice.

I absolutely love Korean ramen and this just fulfilled the craving for it, especially when cooking becomes a chore. Surprisingly generous with the seafood like clams, crab meat and prawns (RM18.5).

For the days where you feel like eating porridge or under the weather, comfort food is available right here in Sunway Pyramid at Asian Avenue. Thought I couldn't finish a whole big pot but surprised myself at the end.

I can't begin to explain how reasonably priced this set lunch is for two. Order two dishes and served with two bowls of heartwarming soup, you already have a full meal right there with a friend for RM28 (price not including white rice). Definitely go for the marmite chicken because they don't hold back on flavor!
Note: This is a pork-free restaurant.

Grabbed a kaya pao for tea just after dining at Krop Krop for lunch. There's no going wrong with a standard kaya pao - smooth kaya in such a comforting, warm bun.

RM10 set lunches still exist?! Amazing! Here at Krop Krop, the set lunch menu changes every week day. RM10 for a creamy pasta with pork slices and a drink is so, so affordable. Best part is that it tastes pretty decent!
