Snacks In My Hands
I'm pretty sure this local snack is no stranger. Most of us had it when we were young, be it at pasarmalams, food fairs or at your neighborhood shopping centres. So why do we have to travel all the way to hdb hub for this? Because its way better than any that you had. At $2.50 you can choose either the peanut or sesame flavored. $3.50/$5.50 you can have both(é»ē½é ] the latter is meant to be shared by 3 persons but if you're a huge muahchee fan go ahead and indulge. This humble local snack at this particular store is so chewy and fragrant and it doesn't stick to your teeth. Not as sweet as compared to others we have tried especially when my dad hates sweet stuff but he likes this! No need for fanciful packaging like the Japanese do, head on down if you're in the vicinity when we have our own mochi so good!
Oyster cake and the first thing that comes into my mind is oyster and flour. But boy was I proven wrong when I sank my teeth into this glorious snack(although I'm actually pretty full after having just 1). Fresh greens, juicy oysters and succulent meat at $2/$3 for more oyster; totally encouraging you to get the latter! š This oyster cake is so crispy and it just goes well with the texture of the fillings inside. There is something addictive about this that keeps you wanting more! Mum and dad approves š
