Tansy's Korean (Singapore)

Tansy's Korean (Singapore)

Kimchi, black bean noodles, fried chicken, stew soup and all things haseyo!

Tried their half chicken instead of wings. Huge portions and definitely worth it. Better than 4 fingers i would say. Very satisfying to a craving for korean fried chicken.

Loved the pancake and bulgogi separately. Doesnt feel that it goes well together. Would love to try the kimchi or seafood pancake though. This cost 18, which might be a little pricey. But cos its bulgogi, i give it to them.

At the look of this soup, you might be able to tell that it does not taste good. And indeed it does not taste good. The kimchi flavour is not authentic and lack of the spice. Will not recommend the korean stall at all. Priced at $5.

Not too much a fan of buddae jiggae, as i have always felt that it is very much overpriced. I don't mind indulging in this once in a while especially since there aren't much choices for korean food in the north... still find it overpriced. The only consolation is that the place is not crowded and there is a homely feeling dining here...

One of the better sweet soy chicken in the north area, a pretty underrated korean place up in the north, and i did enjoy the peace away from the crowd on a friday evening. The wings were flavourful inside and outside which was a delight to taste, albeit less the authenticity of korean fried chicken. This versus 4 fingers, this.

Ordered boiled dumplings and shared with two other friends. The dumplings are petite in size and the dumplings skin are very soft. The soup is actually water and not soup to be drank. Overall the taste is pretty good. Good dish to order to share with friends.

Ordered this popular korean dish and shared with 2 other friends. The sauce is not too sweet nor sour, but the meat is a little tough for me. A good dish to be sharing with friends. Cost about $26 for small size.

My sensitive taste buds say they have the best korean zha jiang mian in Singapore. Authentic korean restaurant in Clark Quay Central and the koreans are pretty friendly too. Many koreans do patronize this restaurant as well. This is the only dish i order everytime i visit and everytime i want to eat zha jiang mian, i will only come here to have it. The noodles are perfectly done - not too hard, pretty chewy and not too soft. The sauce is even better, the flavour of the sauce with the noodles is just right. Not too much and does not lack of any other taste. Goes well perfectly with the side dishes as well. If you are a fan of korean zha jiang mian, you have to go to Tae Woo for this and only this.

A bowl like this cost about 12+, you may add on noodles if you are starving. Two bowls of zha jiang mian cost slightly less than $30.
