My friends and I loved this! Pork belly was tender and very fatty in a good way haha. Truffled eggs and the accompanying veggies were nice too. Oh and service at this place is top-notch. Will definitely return!
The amount of pasta they give is really generous! This one was alright, tuna was nice, but overall the dish was lacking in flavour.
They offer lunch sets for 15.90/17.90++, pretty good place for a business lunch in the city hall area.
Pretty good plate of pasta at $14 nett. Pork skin wasnt as crunchy as other reviews said, but still good. The dish had a good mix of flavours, good balance of savoury and sweet (sauce had some sweetness to it). Surprisingly not crowded around 12.30 on a weekday. Guess the south beach folks like their lunches later.
A beautiful plate of carbonara, done the right way, no cream! Liked how the pappardelle had a nice bite to it.
Quite a unique take on the aglio olio! First time having it with squid ink spaghetti. Of course, I didn't expect to taste squid ink, I know it just coloured the dough. But I still like how it made the dish more visually interesting. The Salami went really well with the garlicky taste of the dish as well.
Our fave!! Didn't know a chicken breast dish could taste this good! It was evenly cooked amd juicy, and even the mash was divine with the truffle flavour. Chicken floss was a nice touch as well.
Very good indeed
Good place to chill/mug
Had this at the more casual dining space upstairs, Pollen Terrace. Saffron risotto with braised beef cheeks ($34++) and ribeye steak (35++) with mushroom, potato puree and 2 sauces (choice of bernaise or peppercorn but we requested for both). Used Entertainer 1-for-1 for this, and also gained free entrance to Flower Dome, as all Pollen diners are entitled to this. Saved us a substantial amount. Food was good and service was even better. And the ambience, in my humble opinion, is one of the best in Singapore. Dining in a giant glass dome filled with flowers made me feel so fancy but not too pretentious because of the laid back atmosphere heh. It was really lovely, I hope to come back soon!
Pretty good though not as great as I expected. We also ordered the mushroom risotto which everyone liked, and the duck fat potatoes which were just alright, kinda dry. Wish we ordered the brie for starters instead. There was an event in one half of the resto when we went so service was a bit erratic. The chef was really friendly though! The place was huge but lacking in ambience.
Dinner for two! Definitely better than KFC, the skin was crispy and not too floury, and even the chicken breast was juicy. Too bad their fries are bad. We barely ate them. Criss cut fries were alright.
