Must-try Restaurants In Singapore
I've been a fan of Chef Jordi from the days of Foodbar Dada before he moved on to head FOC. For bringing us true blue Catalan cuisine. So glad that the Black Rice he pioneered at Foodbar still remains on the menu at FOC. Luscious onyx pearls with plump prawns - delish! Best shared by two.
The tapas menu here is extensive and creative & I also love the Croquettes ($10), Baby Squids ($18) & Galican Octopus ($22). Many tapas places abound in Singapore but FOC is still rocking our nights!
So proud of our local talent, Chef Jason Tan, who consistently plates up #foodporn worthy #delicious food. My vote for a #michelinstar! #cornerhousesg #gastrobotanica #sgfoodie #sgfood #foodpornsg #foodphotography #foodstagram #instafood_sg #instafoodie #burpple #whati8today #8dayseat #michelinguide2016
A standout from my meal at Maggie Joan's, this Chicken Liver Pate dish shows off finesse in its combination of flavours. The pickled mushrooms and "soil" that features cocoa and mint, is the perfect foil to the rich pate. Along with the Dukkah-dusted egg ($6) and the Grilled Iberico Pork ($36), this hidden gem along Gemmill Lane is worth a visit.

The Chili Crab dish at Labyrinth is just one example of Chef Han's inventive fusion cuisine. A chili ice cream that tastes just like the usual sauce and mantou that's been decimated to breadcrumbs to accompany the sweet, deep fried crab. Yes, it's very different but so clever and so good. Had this as my first meal to start 2016 and still think it's amongst the best!

Thanks to these decadent fries, I now have to force myself to the gym today! I was just heading to South Union Park last night for some of their beyond-delish Butternut Squash Pasta ($17) when these came along and blew my diet away! And since I was on a roll, I ended off the night with their coffee-liquer soaked, pistachio topped, Tiramisu ($6) as well. Another yummy outing to this fabulous bistro in kembangan!

I love the buzzy vibe of an izakaya and you'll definitely get that at Mo'mor Izakaya! And when you throw in some awesome dishes like this super-meaty Spiced Lamb Rack ($38), Miso Ginger Chicken ($22), Iberico Pork Jowl ($12) - all at reasonable prices especially for the quantity you're getting, what more can one ask for? Champagne, perhaps? Why, yes! Bubbly available for only $65 a bottle for you to enjoy those yummy citrusy oysters ($5.50/pc) with!
