5 bucks, whuuuuuut! At this price, who wouldn't want to chug chug chug!π»
Not the most amazing beer around but I'll take this over Tiger anyday! Getting a frosty one like this, at this price is a keeper in my books!
Calpis is a favourite Japanese drink of mine. Basically a yogurt-ish drink (think yakult), it surprisingly pairs veeeery well with alcohol! π
Don't be intimidated by the chilli, it was just there as a garnish. πΆWould deffo recommend this if you're not into too intense a drink. π»
Woot, woot TGIF! This new spot along Haji Lane serves up awesome crafts on tap and DIM SUM! π
There's also 1-for-1 from 4pm to 8pm tomorrow for their grand opening! Glasses up peeps π»
Manhattan Bar is introducing a line-up of cocktails and bar bites as part of their new district menus. π
While not the sexiest looking drink on their Central Park inspired menu, the Crystal Room was easily my favourite! πUsing Lagavulin whisky, the smoky alcohol was made into such a refreshing yet creamy cocktail with lime, mint and egg whites. I certainly felt like a big boy sipping on one of these. π¦
Hoppy? Bitter? Ah, pfffffft.π The beers here at @kreambeer_sg are just for you if you don't care about any of that jazz!π
There's eight different fruit flavours to choose from and we enjoyed all that we tried (watermelon, passionfruit and apple). The middle is actually a So-Maek ($15) which is a mix of the fruity beer and soju! The soju is actually trapped under a shot glass in the cup and you only pull it out when you want to mix the two together! π³
Loved the brighter, cheery laid back vibe of the place. They even have phone chargers at each table so you won't run out of juice! β‘οΈ
A really cool craft beer specialist place located on the second floor of a shop house, Freehouse has unique offerings like the Panhead and the Kyara.π»
Of course we also popped by to try the much talked about cereal frog legs! Crunchy and tender, it was a great bar bite as you slowly made your way down to the bones. Kinda pricey though at $17 but worth a try! π°
A relaxed little retreat hidden away at Changi Village, Little Island Brewing Co really had a laid back vibe that I enjoyed. π Packed with families and groups of friends by nightfall, make sure to make a reservation if you're bringing a big group!
They've got a bunch of interesting drinks here, all on tap and self service using a pre-paid card. I'm no beer expertπΊ, but I did enjoy their What Old Black Magic stout beer ($2.40/100ml). And their pork knuckles! Mmmmm, crispy and tender, it went well with the drinks! π·
This magical looking cocking is supposed to invoke feelings of nostalgia with its use of Pei Pa Kao Jellies and a 'secret' ingredient of Bunga Telang (Blue Pea Flower - giving the drink that wonderful purple hue).π It was also super refreshing (dam you SG heatwave!) probably due to a base of coconut water, lime and pineapple juice which was topped off with Vermut Yzaguirre Classic Blanco (wut?). Hats off to the mixologist that came up with this concoction!
TLDR: Hot day, cool drink = me happy πΎ
