Cafe Hopping
Got this with the weekday set menu. This was definitely one of the most bitter cappuccino that I have ever tasted and the latte art did not look as good as those from other cafes. This one looks very dark and dull. Really disappointed with the cappuccino here, I suggest buying the d Good Cafe Unknown which is way much better than the regular drinks in my opinion.
$11. On the pricier side due to the truffles. The cafe gave lots of soup and the mushroom tasted really nice. Good for sharing with others because it was definitely a huge portion for 1 person. This is a must try at the cafe!!
$16. Definitely worth it, the carbonara was cooked to perfection. Even though I was recommended to put pepper into the carbonara, I did not prefer it with the pepper. Would have liked it if more mushroom was given instead of sausage, made me feel as though I'm paying for something that is less worth it.
The ice cream flavours are rotated and the earl grey vanilla ice cream certainly did not disappoint. There was a strong earl grey taste and they gave lots of ice cream to fulfill my cravings.
Sadly, the taro taste wasn't as strong as I would have hoped for. But they certainly did maximise your money spent because the drink was filled to the brim and it did not spill over even though it seemed like it was going to. Would have preferred if the taro taste was stronger like that in Gong Cha.
My first time trying piccolo latte, definitely something which I liked really much. There was a strong bitter aftertaste that enhanced the coffee. Not a coffee expert but I really loved it. Hope that the service would be better and they could serve water.
$17. The scrambled egg was excellent and one of the best that I had tasted, it was not overdone and some parts of the egg was runny. Definitely something that is worth it. The environment and ambience in the cafe is vibrant and its an amazing place to chill with good scenery. The creamy mushroom tasted strong and the cream made the bread very soft, making it easier to slice through as compared to portions of the bread which were under the scrambled eggs. The plating was perfect and designed with extreme skill. Also did not have to wait for a long time for the dish to come. Certainly one of the best cafes to go!
This is definitely not something that I would drink if not for the 1-for-1 promotion because of the price. But this drink made me feel like I was in heaven. The combination of green tea and chocolate was simply perfect! However, me being a matcha fan, I would have preferred if it was more bitter and there was a distinct matcha taste. Definitely would recommend this drink to anyone who hasn't tried it before.
Good place to chill in a cafe with amazing coffee. Also, they have a wide range of breads and pastries which you could choose from. The price are rather affordable too. Some of the special food that they have include the macaron croissant, cinnamon roll, matcha azuki loaf. Visit the bakery & cafe to see more of what they have to offer! Overall, a relaxed and comfortable place to chill. Service staff were friendly as well.
$6.90 if you pair it with a coffee or tea. The croissant was amazing because of the flaky crust which made it taste so crispy when you bite into it. The inside was soft while the outside was crispy, making it a perfect combination. Putting butter made it even better because the croissant was hot, allowing the butter to melt. One of the best croissants that I have tasted!! It was something special because the croissant had 27 layers apparently and I guess this is their signature.
Fantastic cup of coffee priced at $5 for 5oz. It was amazing due to the lingering taste that is left even after finishing the coffee. The service was excellent because they served the coffee really quickly. The latte art was extremely interesting and a relaxed place to chill at.
