The desserts were less impressive. Creme brûlée was too eggy. The tiramisu didn't have the rich espresso flavor I was looking for. Panna cotta's milkiness overpowered the lemongrass flavor.
Handmade pasta that was springy and not overly thick.
Other dishes which are not featured include Lamp chop with sweet onions and Seared chicken thigh on mashed sweet potato.
Flavorful and fork tender beef cheek.
Hub gave me a birthday treat at this Italian omakase-style restaurant at $90++ per pax. They have no menu and the chef will prepare a multiple course dinner with the ingredients he has that day but of couse, they will check if there's any food you don't eat. My favorite is this 4-course cold appetisers of Scallop with basil crust, Smoked swordfish on mascarpone pumpkin purée with olives, Seared beef on wild mushrooms and Crab salad on purple slaw. The scallop was fresh and tender; the basil crust was just sublime.
