Fish with chilli crab fries... satisfying plate of solid chunky cod encased in crispy batter combined with shoestring fries and a dollop of chilli crab sauce. Good ambience and bright surroundings lend themselves to a relaxing lunch!

Kampong Pizza, 20++. BBQ chicken, mozzarella, peppers. Make sure you arrive with an appetite as you’ll be leaving with a full belly! Good service also. Truffle fries also hit the right spot.

Cracking food in a convenient location just a couple of mins walk from Jalan Besar mrt. Sweet potato noodle hot plate shown, 15.80. Generous portions and rich in flavour. Pan-fried shrimp/pork/leek dumplings were the standout dish.

Stopped for breakfast on a weekend and plumped for the Little Farms Baked Beans, 18++. The ham hock pieces were delicious but the sauce was just too sweet to finish. Bright and comfortable setting; probably better value to queue at the deli counter and order from the days offerings rather than from the menu.

Came here specifically to try the Pizza Frita, this is the Naplitano 18++. First of all, the ambience inside is instantly relaxing: airy and bright, and the service attentive. The pizza frita is interesting - the buffalo mozzarella and San Marzano tomatoes lent a wonderful taste, and although the dough was crispy, I found it quite heavy and difficult to finish. Glad I tried it but I’d probably opt for the other dishes on a return visit. I’ll definitely be back...

Fulfilling bowl of ramen; the meat seems to have been flash fried and has caramelised onions included and the broth is peppery rather than spicy. Struggled to finish this after having a side dish also... make sure you come with an appetite!

6 pieces with spicy sauce, 15++. To borrow a phrase, these are finger licking good! Crisped to perfection, evenly sauced pieces of chicken. Spicy but not overpowering - this is better than some places that specialise just in Korean fried chicken.

Another well executed dish; 14++. Stayed crispy until the end and accompanied by a lime mayonnaise. Safe option but recommended.

Crispy Duck pancakes, 18++. Asian fusion restaurant with a relaxed ambience in an upstairs cocoon. A decent dish, well presented. Duck was indeed crispy and sufficient quantity and pancakes to make a well sized starter.

King Breakfast, 23 ++. Really wholesome feed; well seasoned omelette, thick bacon, savoury sausage and crunchy (not soggy) sourdough bread to round it off. Everything on the plate works and not even crumbs left at the end!

For those times when only a substantial meal will satisfy the hunger pangs, this is a well-priced (15++) and tasty solution. Chose the standard Kohaku tendon but with the (not so) spicy sauce and multi grain rice. Good mix of ingredients and efficient service.

Huge well-lit open area for dining and socialising in. Opted for a healthy sounding lemon chicken dish (22++). The chicken was well cooked and doused in a refreshing dressing, well accompanied by smashed potatoes with just the right amount of crisping. Good service also.
