Favorite place to go for lunch appointments with more senior colleagues - because everyone loves a good har gow right? Especially when your har gow is truffle infused and prawns are fresh and plump. My colleague started the meal saying he have been eating throughout the day and not that hungry and ended pigging out and sighing that its so good he should come more often. But this does come with a hefty price tag though. 4 har gow will make you $8+++ poorer. Order the roast pork too, exquisite.

Absolutely enjoyed our lunch set (with burpple beyond we paid $20 nett for 2 sets of noodles, dumplings and drinks ). The mushroom miso noodles is great, abeit miso taste is missing, taste more like bak chor mee. The szechuan noodles is nice too, not spicy at all though - you will either rejoice or frown depending on if you are a spicy lover. Dumplings are really nice too. I tried the original one but would love to try the momo curry or smoked duck nett. I have no complaints of this place amd since its near my office i might come often.

This is amazing. Crispy on the outside, juicy fresh avocado in the inside. Plus, the presentation was so nice! Will definitely have this again.

Stumbled upon this little jem while out looking for a place for lunch. Although the store is situated in a little store space, it's hard not to miss it because of the long queue of hungry customers.
Ordered a combination of Hainanese pork chop, cabbage, fried egg, fish cake 五香, and of course drizzled with loads of curry sauce.
I was expecting some tender pork chop but instead I was offered some really crispy textured pork chop which gave the whole dish the much needed crunch. The curry sauce was on point, with subtle hints of coconut and a tad of spicyness.
Taste ☆☆☆☆ (I liked it very much or I'm just hungy waiting in queue for 30mins)
Price ☆☆☆ (S$15, too pricey for a hawker food but ok fine a michelin star)
Location ☆☆☆ (too hot, warm and sticky feels)
Ordered the Special Noodle! It comes with a side dish and a soup. So whats special in this noodle was you are given 3 pieces of wanton , 3 slices of "super tender" chasu, a whole soft boiled spring egg and a crispy potato with a shrimp wrap inside. I gained 1.5kg eating this haha! But it is worth it 😙😙😙
The crispy roast pork belly definitely stood out amongst the 3. Char Siew was pretty good but not as succulent as we would love it to be. The roast duck was just decent. We have had tastier Char Siew elsewhere.
Had to say that their roast pork had the crispiest crackling skin which was yummy. However, the pork belly on the whole lost out in terms of its skin-to-fats-meat ratio. There was too much fats for our liking.
If we were to look at the trio platter on the whole, there are also nicer ones around. Nonetheless, their crispy roast pork was still worth recommending simply for that crackling skin.
Yet another Izakaya in Singapore CBD, but the gyudon served was excellent. The special salad was great too.
I came with my friends for the first time here and we had a really good experience. The ambience was cosy and the service was excellent.
My favorite dish was the Crab Mentaiko Gratin. The presentation of the food was really unique (my friends were all ready to take pictures), and the dish was so good it melted in my mouth. I wanted to order more of it but since it was our first time here, we decided to try other dishes as well.
My next favorite was the deep fried squid ink batter, followed by the spicy salmon don. We had Sake as well, which went really well together with the food!
Overall, I had a great time there and I would definitely come back and recommend my friends to come!
$1 - $3 per stick
Total personal record 55 sticks 😂
Affordable pricing and cheap!
Open till 4am good place for supper
Favourite fish soup that my buddy and I always go for whenever we can spare a little time to queue. Sadly, the portion of fish seems to be smaller now. Prefer their fried fish as it's meaty and crisp from frying it on the spot. But honestly both are good - the fish used here are very fresh! Soup is tasty, accented by the milk but isn't overly milky. I believe it's also lightly spiked with a tinge of Chinese rice wine to bring out the flavours.
Had black sesame toast ($3.5) with kopi c ($2.2) this morning. The kopi c is pretty pricey compare with normal chains. The black sesame toast is nice but may only have it once in a while given the price.
