Best Japanese Restaurants
Chanced upon this place during lunch time @ Liang Court. Tried the pork udon in regular ($9.80) (there’s a large size too) and it was delicious. Plenty of sliced pork and the soup was super flavourful. They also serve a variety of tempura to go along and they costs only $1.50 to $2+ per stick. I kind of expected the chicken karaage ($1.80) to be dry but surprisingly it was juicy and crispy, and it was even tastier when dipped into the udon soup. This is definitely my favourite lunch time spot.
This is the definition of cheap and good! Ordered the Grand Tonkotsu Ramen which has 3 different braised pork cuts, which is perfect for meat lovers. Soup is rich in flavor as well. For $12.90++ I cannot find any fault with this bowl of ramen.
Birthday promo was really worth it! However, it is only available for weekday buffet lunch. (Usual price is $39.90++) Shin Minori offers an extensive menu of fresh sashimi and delectable side dishes.
Personally, I love the salmon and swordfish sashimi. Tuna for some reason doesn't taste as good as the other buffet restaurants.
As for side dishes, you definitely have to try the crunchy kani sushi (crabmeat with tempura bits), beef with special sauce, gyoza (not bad), ton katsu, takoyaki, grilled asparagus bacon, yakitori, pork skewers, and beef udon!
Regret that I couldn't try more of their food items as they are all so delicious! 😍
Though they don't really have a very extensive buffet menu, the quality of the meat was fantastic.
My favorite was the aus grass fed ribeye steak and the kurobuta pork rosu steak. Both were extremely juicy and flavorful. The A5 Miyazaki was well marbled too. Every meat item was perfect!
Don't forget to try the matcha ice cream too! It has a strong matcha taste yet creamy at the same time (some are just bland and some have this powdery matcha taste if you get what I mean)
Totally worth the calories and the money! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This has got to be the best Japanese buffet I have ever eaten!!! The sashimi slices are super fresh and the portion is extremely generous. Each slice is thick and evenly sliced. There's also the assorted platter to try the different sashimi available. Everything was good except for the chicken karaage (too dry) and the chicken meatballs (tastes weird). I will totally come back here again! ** if you dine Ina group of 4, it'll be 25% off which is just only $32.50 per person**
