This was Shoyu Sansho Chicken, KFC's latest 🇯🇵 inspired chicken, supposedly Umakara Chicken's successor ㅡ or at least that's what people thought/expect.

So i tried it earlier today for lunch, with the same expectation every umakara chicken fan have. Not bad. It's crispy, and have strong flavor ㅡ like umakara chicken was, BUT i find it too peppery. Personally, still miss it's predecessor

Perhaps it's just me ㅡ cause I came with expectation. Perhaps this was never meant to be any product's successor. have you tried this? Any thoughts?
[Ps. Still a lot nicer than chizza tho 😅😂]

Fried chicken, tomato sauce, ham, cheese, and pineapple? Sure sounds like a good idea! Thanks to KFC now we know that idea doesn't work. 🙈

I mean it's not THAT bad [ at least the mozzarella was stretchy like it's supposed to be], but i'd go for normal chicken with mundane chili sauce next time. 👅

Ps. BRING BACK UMAKARA CHICKEEEENNN!!! Funfact: Do you know KFC at Takashimaya is actually a bit pricier? 🤓

So good, so flavorful, I'll definitely miss this when it's gone. As for now, let's indulge as much as we can.
