Hearty, comforting and super yummy. The dish was chock-full of ingredients, like fish slices, prawns, squid, tofu, and mushrooms. The gravy is so rich and flavourful that you can probably just drink it as soup on its own with all the other ingredients inside. However, this was a little too salty for my liking.

Served as a fried pancake, you won't be able to tell that it's made of kway teow. The noodles are fried till it is crispy, and is then formed into a gigantic pancake which is then cut into tiny squares for everyone's enjoyment. This is super addictive, and is ultimately a plate of fried carbs made savoury due to the cai poh. A must-have at this place.

The porridge was smooth and full of 'liao' like fish, mincemeat, cuttlefish, century egg pieces, etc. The frog legs were springy and the sauce went well with the porridge for and extra salty kick.

Ordered this Red Glutinous Rice Wine Mee Sua ($3.50) from the Ban Mian stall for my first time and was taken aback by the rich broth! Flavour authenticity is really high and for that price, that's a lot of Mee Sua and 5pcs of chicken! Highly recommended although it may be far for some of you guys. Trust me, you won't regret it.

While you're here you may wanna try the famous herbal mutton soup and char kway teow also. Not forgetting the handmade paus! All in the same coffeeshop.

The same Thai Jing Jing from Jalan Berseh had moved to FoodPark Hougang (Blk 805 Hougang Central) about a month ago, offering the same delicious Thai cuisine they had been serving since their inception. Still as good as the last time I had it in Berseh, the Deep Fried Garlic Pork Rice Set comes with chunks of deep-fried pork marinated with a savoury flavour, flanked with deep-fried shallots for a crispy, garlicky punch. Accompanying the pork is a sunny side-up where the yolk flows when poked; mix it up with the rice or even the pork to flavour things up. Been quite some time I have been craving for them ever since they moved; definitely left with a satisfied tummy.
