They offer quality food with good value that is hard to find other places that can beat them. The Chirashi Don only costs $12.90 nett and has a variety of different sashimi available. Top up $5 and you can make it a set which includes a soup, salad and salmon sashimi.
Going to be drooling over this for the next few days. 😋😋🍣
The icing room has hopped on the Liu Sha wagon. Liu Sha croissants are now available at a reasonable 6 for $5.50.
The sauce is decent but somewhat underwhelming and lacking in the croissant. The pastry wasn't flaky enough but overall it's definitely worth a try.
It has the right balance of sweetness and the spiciness which can be customised yourself. Good for sharing unless you want to eat 4000calories yourself.
Though the curry is good, the meat is rather normal and is not really worth talking about.
Curry craving satisfied. ✔
Also not too sure if the unagi complements the dish as a whole. The quail egg adds a nice kick to the entire dish in general.
I love how hearty the soup tastes and that they offer two types of rice for you to choose from.
But what really shines here is the pork, the moist and tender deep fried pork loin.
Guess I'll be sticking to Swensen's desserts.
Each bun is filled generously with piping hot juices that bursts out when you bite into it.
Be careful not to burn your mouth!
The standard of their burgers are still as great and affordable as before and featured here is my favourite - the Bolly Wooly which consists of a juicy lamb patty smothered with curry remoulade and topped with mango chutney.
I feel that one of the things that differentiates Fat Boy's burgers are their sauces. Their sauces are all seasoned perfectly with the right balance. They're so good I always order an extra portion on the side with my burgers.
So I was surprised to see that they revamped their entire concept when I recently visited.
They now offer dishes from the Sharkfin's Chawanmushi shown above, lobster hokkien mee, liusha bao to chocolate lava cakes.
However though many of these dishes do sound interesting, the taste just wasn't up to par. Also the escargots were not cleaned properly and filled with grit. Stations were also always almost empty and took a long time to be refilled.
Also the place where I nearly dislocated my jaw while trying to gorge down their iEat super burger.
They serve pretty decent set meals that comprises of a variety of dishes cooked directly in front of you.
A little too spicy for my taste though despite already asking for less spicy.
It is located at Emporium Shokuhin in Marina square and is definitely worth exploring the area after the meal.
Service was superb as everything was delivered timely and efficiently with minimal wait times.
Don't say never share : Gyuu Yakiniku currently has 1 for 1 buffet for all OCBC card holders till end April.
