Pretty damn good beef noodles

I’ve been looking all over for some good beef noodles since other places’ standards have been dropping. Glad to have come across The Beef Station and tried their Hainanese beef noodles (from $7) The beef slices are udder-ly tender and the sauce that comes with the dry version is magnificent. I’d like to add slices of chilli padi to give it a lil kick. My absolute favourite part is actually the broth that comes in a separate bowl. Every slurp just bursts with so much flavour. I’ll definitely be back to have more of my new favourite beef noodles.

A lil gem along Circuit Road.

Heavenly Snacks 天下小吃 serves delectable fun-sized pieces of muah chee. I find these dollops of glutinous rice dough more refined than typical muah chee stalls because it's way less oily.

100g of the brown sugar white muah chee (peanut) goes for $2.50 and the brown sugar black muah chee (black sesame) goes for $2.80!

Friend recommended this super shiok hokkien mee to me at Circuit Road.

When I arrived at the food centre, many were digging in into this orange plate of hokkien mee ($3/4/5). Apparently it's been around for quite a few years and is popular with the Macpherson residents.

The wet gravy was full of flavour and wok hei which was impressive considering that they don't overload with the pork lard. The seafood was fresh though I wish the stall owners gave more as I ordered a $5 portion. It's one of my favourite hokkien mee stalls now.

Some legit fishball noodles right here.

Finally found some good food near my workplace in Ubi. Li Xin Fishball Noodles can be found at various places in Singapore such as ION Orchard, NEX, Suntec, Chai Chee and at BreadTalk IHQ!

I fell in love with the Specialty Noodles (S$5.50). The dish comes with the franchise's signature yellowtail fishballs, fish cake and dumplings. You can definitely taste the freshness with just one bite from those bouncy treats. What I also love is the sauce which is a blend of chill and sweet ketchup that makes the noodles slurp-worthy. My noodles were a tad undercooked and they clumped together but dayum, give me this and I'll be such a happy camper. #burpproved

An old favourite of mine, Signature Dry Chilli Pan Mee from Kin Kin.

The thought of a bowl of these noodles just makes me salivate. Add an additional poached egg for 70 cents and the chili paste, mix them together with the minced meat, meat balls, ikan bilis, scallions, roasted chilli flakes and you've got yourself an explosion of flavours in every bite.

The sheer spiciness will make you perspire profusely but it's totally worth it.

I look at the number of posts, then I look at my stomach and I realise my body is a machine.
