Selected soup version with Hakka Mian 客家面 as choice of noodle.
The noodle was served in a light savoury broth, topped with sayur manis 马尼菜 and tofu. First time for me having this rarely seen vegetable with yong tau foo. Accompanied with stuffed shiitake mushroom, stuffed lotus root, stuffed youtiao, and fried dumpling, which were deep fried and served topped with a savoury sauce.
Don’t forget to help yourself to the sweet sauce and chilli sauce at the counter.
I love that the yong tau foo were made in-house, instead of the commonly found factory sources type. The stuffed lotus root was my favourite as it was crunchy while covered with a layer of the juicy filling.

Grilled Galbi Pork Belly Meat Set (S$7.60)

The dish was served a la minute with lots of crunchy kimchi. The grilled meat looked dry but was actually very tender, covered in savoury sweet sauce.
