Like a slobbery, warm and comforting make-out session with an adorable Shiba Inu.
This dish is one of the six exclusive dishes showcased during the "Backstreet Bengs" six-hands event taking place on 17 and 31 October 2018. A collaboration with fellow Amoy Street restaurants Birds of a Feather (@birdsofafeathersg) and Ding Dong (@dingdongsg), the six-course event allows guests to experience two dishes at each of the three concepts throughout the evening, with one dish being an event-exclusive special.
Ordered the lamb chop, super delicious.
Place is very easy-speaking and hippie-style, for those who are super foodie, it is a must try out place!
6th review! Def one of my FAV restaurants. The cold pasta is undoubtedly one of the best. Friend decided to be greedy & ordered an entire cold pasta for herself so i finally got to try a different pasta!! π

Pros: Service improved. Consistently good food. Generous servings. Everything u see in two plates is actually 1 serving. β€ the cold pasta. Crab meat penne comparable, but still prefer @pastafrescadasalvatore 's version. White asparagus (seasonal) was superb! Very good lamb chops, t-bone beef & pistachio ice cream too.

Cons: DON'T attempt to finish the cold pasta by yourself, it's extremely jerlat. Apple tart not fantastic.

Price: S$202.44 - 2pax, finished everything
Finally got to get Taro Waffles ($15.9++)! Did not expect the waffle mix to be taro flavored tooπ Not sure why our taro sauce seemed a little darker than others.. Would like to try the French Toast Waffles too!
@bochinchesg has the juiciest steaks ever I've ever had in Singapore; imagine juice flowing out with every cut you make! π²
The steak I had is a 180g Argentinean Ribeye that is part of their daily lunch prix fixe ($29++ for 2-course and $35++ for 3-course; menu changes every week or so - check their Ig page to know what's available!). It is considered the specialty dish of the restaurant and I do say it's pretty impressive and is perhaps the nicest one I've had so far in my homeland. However, I can't make much fair judgement as I have not had much steaks here.
You get to choose chips or salad on the side and I went for the former. There's garlic on the chips and chimchurri mayo for dipping but each wedge is so darn flavourful on their own I personally feel the dip ruins it.
So be it the festive mood or just a mad craving, do check out boCHINche for a good steak and an overall pleasant meal. Indeed, it's pricey but for the quality you get I personally think it's worth the price!
Aaaand on that note, The Fussy Foodie wishes everyone a very blessed Merry Christmas! π
