LOK LOK BUFFET for dinner with the family! You get to choose two soup bases (top up for peanut sauce pot). You can also choose to grill or deep fry your food. We unanimously agree that the DEEP FRIED YAM is the best!

Prawns were huge, and big love for the free flow crayfish! Choose between 2 soup bases (Tom Yum & Chicken) or you could also make your own rojak here!
There's another interesting concept - Shell Out ($22 per person) dishing out huge trays of louisiana style seafood (they have it in Chili or black pepper). Prices seems really reasonable 🙌🏻 Just a heads up that drinks' prices were a little steep here.

WhyTF is it called WTF? Well, Chris, chef-owner of Ah Bong's Italian explained that was exactly what he exclaimed when he read the recipe. But he isn't revealing what goes into this tasty WTF Pasta. Only two people have made correct guesses so far. And nope, I wasn't one of them. WTF right?! 😂
So, the big question is: WhoTF is going to be number 3? 😎

Mains ranges between $8 to $12 & you can complete it with a side & drink for $5!
My favorite was Bird's Nest ($10)! A simple main of Korean glass noodles (tanghoon), paired with marinated spicy chicken, onsen egg & tobiko! The glass noodles had such the right amount of sauce that made it extremely savory & easy to finish up. Pair it with the spicy chicken and adding the yolk for extra creaminess complemented it!
If you're looking for something more substantial, you can DIY-Don! You can choose from a variety of carbs, too it with a side & main for just $8! Pretty worth it I'd say!

I've had my fair share of shoyu broths and never found them to be particularly good; but this, I take my hat off to. The clear soup's immensely earthy, fragrant from the abundance of clams and seafood used in creating the dashi base, and no less rich than a tonkotsu base — quite like a good consommé.

Must say I fell head over heels in love with the homely shio soup too! It tasted like something Mama would've made if she were a badass Michelin chef: hearty and comforting. Die-hard Tonkostsu fans, don't knock them till you've tried them.

Good steak with a fuss-free experience.

@braseiro_sg is a simple Brazilian-French influenced restaurant without the over-the-top, fancy decor. It's just a place that focuses on giving patrons a good meal.

I had a great medium-rare flame grilled ribeye steak (S$19.90/24.90/29.90 for 200/300/400g respectively). It's one of the few places that get the doneness spot on. The meat can get a bit chewy but overall very tender. However, for that price, I have zero complaints!

The restaurant also serves beef skewers and roasted chicken as its signature meats. With any order of its signature meats, it comes along with free flow lettuce and the oh-so-addictive handmade fries.

The hand cut fries had the skins still on and went so well with the various dips and sauces available. I could have stayed all night just munching down the fries.

Nasi Ambeng ($22.50 for 3 pax)

This plate is chock full of everything you want to point at when you visit a nasi padang stall so why not just order everything right? This is my 2nd time having nasi ambeng and I must say that it is growing to become one of my favourite staples (only cos I'm greedy like that 😂)!

I really loved almost all the selections on this plate. Attacked the begedil first since that is my all time favourite. Super yummy with the chilli provided. The beef rendang was super soft and moist, the sambal sotong had the perfect balance of spicy and sweet. My favourite here was the brinjal🍆. Adorned with the belacan, this was chanting 'eat me'! 🙌🏼 Even the plain rice tasted good since fried coconut flakes and shallots were sprinkled over it to give you that lemak feel!

One of my favourite foods, I'll always choose scallop if I see it on the menu. Love the fact that you can add extra toppings, from rich Foie Gras to Uni or even Mentaiko Cheese! It's like build-your-own-scallop! Delicately flavoured with light sauce, we were lucky enough to try this with Dassai Junmai Daiginjo 50 sake—which I wouldn't mind having again for it's sweet, fruity flavour. A good sake for noobs like myself.

I was over the moon when Symmetry is part of the dining privileges for AMEX . I love their brunch and to have dining deals for their dinner menu is just amazing. I had the Grey Shrimp pasta and it was lovely. It's a creamy based sauce. Its not too overly Richy and creamy which is how I liked my pasta to be . The shrimps was huge and generous and it was grilled to perfection. Not a very big portion so it's perfect for the ladies :) overall, I would say im super Impressed !

This plate of bihun is amazing on two counts:

1. The bihun is cooked in a super sweet broth and topped with countless pieces of pork lard. The combination of the seafood broth, together with the fragrance of the pork lard pieces makes it super addictive until you can't stop slurping.

2. YMMV, but my crab was full with roe and that really was the icing on the cake. The crab was full with meat and it's just so satisfying taking in mouthfuls of crab meat with your bihun!

Total damage was $68 with portions enough for 4 people. The crab was priced at $60/kilo but I guess the price is seasonal.
