Matcha and hojicha mix softserve cone from @tsujirihei_honten pop up stall ($7). Couldn’t resist having the best of both (green tea) worlds, with each scoop packed with intense, earthy tea flavours that is so satisfying. Definitely a must to have it topped with their matcha sauce.

Rich curry with an appropriate level of spiciness that goes so well drenched with chicken and rice.

I’ve learnt that you consume durians according to intensity, ending with the most intense flavoured cultivars. Started off with D13 which was sweet, before moving on to the Golden Phoenix with its pale yellow bittersweet softer flesh. Ended with Wang Zhong Wang which surprisingly had an almost alcoholic bitterness that lingered on.

Only at @naganumaiceco and they recently opened an outlet at Donki City Square Mall. Had a matcha softserve base, served with sugar sprinkled on top and lightly torched to achieve the caramelised topping. A nice occasional indulgence at $8 per cone.

And yes, the filling tasted like molten pokka peach tea, so this hits the sugar rush jackpot. 🍑

($8.70). This Katong shop dishes out gelato infused with botanical flavours. Especially enjoyed the strawberry basil which is not artificially sweet. Also glad to have ordered slightly before the lunch crowd poured in!

The wantons are pretty normal but their dumplings are stuffed to the brim with delicious minced pork, shrimps and black fungus for a really tasty crunch texture.

Fuss free one dish meal from Omoomo. Spicy Chicken, Korean White Rice, Assorted Vegetables, Onsen Tobikko.

Many ingredients- smooth glistening pieces of chicken, juicy tau pok, fish cake and potato packed in a luscious curry soup base. Gotta love this $4.50 bowl of curry mee.

It’s flavour is so much more toasty and nuttier than others, which makes it a must try. I also had lemon basil sorbet which is light and refreshing. ($7.50 double scoop + $0.70 for premium flavour)
