A hearty sweet & sour broth packed w tomato & beef flavors! 🍅🐮 Definitely one for the tomato lovers! I liked that the broth wasn't too thick & not to watery too. It was just the perfect texture for slurping along w the soft & fat udon noods! 👍🏻👍🏻 Ultimate comfort food for a erratic rainy weather 🌧

New kid on the block! 🎉 Thanks to the recent rainy weather we've been experiencing, I'm constantly craving for a warm & absolutely comforting streamboat meal! Chanced upon 55 steamboat & gave it a shot. Best decision everrrr. They're not only value for price but the service here is also top notched! Tho they might make a few small rookie mistakes but they make it up w being really friendly & attentive. Constantly checking in when they spot our table becoming empty & asking if we would like to order more. Ingredients here are not only fresh but in sizable servings. We chose their sweet tomato soup base. For those who love spicy food, go for their Sichuan mala soup base! There's a total of 3 spiciness level so choose wisely! 🔥 They also have a rich yet light bone soup base for those who prefer milder palates. Their selection of ingredients provided are pretty extensive. With a good combination of seafood (fish, scallops, prawn, squid, etc), meats (pork, pig intestines 😍, beef slices, beef omasum, lamb, etc) & vegetables (cabbage, mushroom, yam, corn, kelp, beancurd, etc). & to top it all off, beers here are off the charts cheap! 4 big ass Qingdao bottles for only $20! 🍻🍻 OH HO HO YASSSS! #chugtime All in all, a highly recommended place for a cozy, hearty & value for money dinner.

Comparable to the famous HDL sans the long queue! Service here was amazing! Staff were very friendly & attentive. Always made sure to refill our beer glasses & soup bases without us asking. We had the tangy tomato & rich collagen soup base. Free refills for all soup bases except for the collagen which is an extra generous refill for $5. Reasonable. Ulternatively, you can choose to refill w chicken broth at no additional cost. ✨ Ingredients served here are absolutely fresh & pretty high quality. We went for their ala carte menu rather than the buffet menu which did not consist of beef. Tho their prices aren't as mad friendly as the other steamboat places out there, they made it up for the size & quality! 👍🏻 They also provide iPads for ordering at every table so you don't have to waste time getting distracted to raise your hands to order each time you wish to add ingredients. Which means, more time for eating! ❤️ (YASSS) Here at HXL they also serve a variety of cooked food which is a great add on. Good for groups & family dinners!

Feast like royalty w this 3 tiered steamboat that compromises of the top layer steamer, middle layer hot plate & bottom layer steamboat! 😍 we chose the tangy sweet tomato soup base that was just perfect to slurp~ 🍅 Housed in a coffeeshop, this steamboat provides an array of ingredient selections (from your must-have cheese tofu, fish balls & crab sticks to the more exotic seafoods like crayfish & bamboo clams. Additionally, they provide an adequate selection of sauces. This place makes a great dinner spot for groups.
