Perfect medium rare and super juicy (spot the meat juices on the board!). Fries were also hot and crispy, and coleslaw refreshing. Would have liked a few more mushrooms though.

GRUB Double Cheeseburger - Extremely juicy and tender beef patty with melted Monterey Jack cheese topped up with bacons and other delectable ingredients that made the whole burger extremely messy and so sinfully delicious.
Mentaiko Fries - Woah, love the addictive mentaiko aioli and fries combination. The seaweed that was paired on top of the fries made the whole combination even more palatable and yummy. Definitely worth ordering since this is one of their signature food over here as well! 😁

The King Brew Burger: my boyfriend's favourite burger. Two huge patties, layered with melted cheddar, caramelised onions, sautéed shrooms, lotsa bacon, and beer chili. All that awesome ingredients held between two fluffy, charred buns. The patties aren't the best I've tried; but what won our hearts were the hearty massive fillings. It sounds like quite the mouthful, but together they made for a medley of fantastically insane flavours. At S$35++, it's a steal. Just be warned that the portion's ginormous.

Located right by the entrance of Dempsey Hill, this gourmet butchery cum bistro is the perfect brunch location for the whole family. On a weekend, expect to wait about 20 minutes for a table. Thankfully, you can seek respite while browsing gourmet items in the air-conditioned butchery next door while the kids run amok at the playground. Surrounded by lush greenery, your brunch experience will be laid back and well worth the wait. Order the Huber's Beef Burger with Bacon and Gruyere ($15.50) — made with 170g of Australian ground beef (served medium well, but you can let the staff know if you prefer otherwise). With a lethal combo of two nicely charred buns that are pillowy soft but never soggy, melted gruyere cheese, crispy strips of bacon, this is one satisfying burger that will keep you coming back time and time again. Also order the Spicy Italian Sausage ($13.80) to share, it's probably the best hot dog around.
