This is the Teriyaki chicken bento set($4.50) that I ordered from this particular stall ( probably the only one in the food centre, you can't miss it)

Chicken was well done, not fried like what others do. Rice was a lil' dry, but still sticky. The miso soup hits the spot in taste and the lightly fried sweet potato completed this Cheap, Yet Good Bento Set.

I doubt it's their speciality dish, but worth trying if you are in the area. 👍

Been deliberating on places to eat, but with my tummy rumbling and and currently staying away from korean cuisine ( spicy ones in particular), I wandered to find this store in the basement of One Raffles Place (#01-06)

Ordered the lberian Pork Belly Don, along with Set A ( 3 pieces of enoki skewers with shitake mushrooms (?) , additional 3 dollars )

The preparation time was decent, and when I saw the Iberian Pork Belly Don ($10) being served, I was underwhelmed.

Rice was lukewarm, instead of steaming hot. It definitely wasn't helped by the strong air conditioning circulating in the premises. So I had to finish it quickly; another minus point.

But wait,i would like to make a point in this: the serving of the Iberian Pork was okay, and that its savory taste of it being enhanced with high-grade charcoal rings your tastebuds awake. The serving of the pork roughly matched the amount of rice buried undermeath, along with a cold poached egg (?). The quantity, overall, didn't fill me up. It'd have been better if they had increased the quantity.

So if you have a small appetite for meals or you just wish to fill your stomach up with something light, otherwise, I wouldn't feel this is value for money.

Bad experience overall; more negative than positive, despite having no expectations for it. The promotions for the buffet would be a better deal, I'd say.

I had initially baulked against the price of this Wagyu Beef Bowl item on the menu. But given the prices that other Japanese restaurants would quote for an equivalent of this, this is DEFINITELY a steal. So I bit the bullet and paid for it. You'll need to pay additional one dollar for the miso soup; an option I didn't take up

The preparation didn't take long, but man was I mind blown when it was finally served to me.AN ABUNDANT AMOUNT OF JUICY AND SUCCULENT WAGYU BEEF SLICES was a sight to behold, along with the onsen egg and lafonica (?) Rice. Biting into the beef with a pinch of rice had my taste buds in overdrive. I had to slow down and savour the moment when the juices oozes out and around the beef slice and its seasoning lingering long after I had swallowed it.

Wagyu beef here is something to die and try for. Legit. AND for a price cheaper than a Japanese restaurant. This is the place you have to come.
