Both pistachio and lemon are strong flavours, yet Nesuto was able to tone them down and match them into this dome cake. Inside there are lemon white chocolate mousse, pistachio milk custard and housemade pistachio praline. Topped with pistachio 'Snow Cap' with candied lemon. Refreshing flavour with distinctive pistachio note. Lovely when paired with tea too

Cute little cafe connected to the Ralph Lauren store. You would be greeted by their bear mascot at shopfront. Their famous chocolate cake was out of stock, so I tried the Coconut Cake. The slice of cake is tall and dense, yet smooth and moist every mouthful, thanks to the cream in between. Flavour wise it has a touch of gula melaka. Their matcha latte was lovely

Rare find of alcoholic Crêpe cake. Cake is stacked with layers of pastry cream in between, smooth. But, only the raisins are alcoholic, so the cake was underwhelming

Generous portion of avocado on sourdough, and house guacamole with onsen egg by the side. Topped with dukkah, seeds, wild mushrooms and grana padano cheese. The slices of picked pear gave the exotic flavours to this avocado toast. I prefer the lemon version instead of picked pear

This block of “tofu” cake is exclusively at their Joo Chiat outlet. Silken tofu hazelnut praline with vanilla sponge and vanilla mousse. Not your typical 死甜 cakes. I love the spacious cafe and the friendly atmosphere

This dessert reminds me of the peanut ice cream roll I had at 九份. Sweet vanilla ice cream wrapped in popiah skin, with generous layer of peanut in between. The peanut is sweet and fragrant, giving the distinct flavour to this dessert. Go give it a try

Back to Ri Ri Cha to try out their waffle. The nian gao waffle is a great pick as their ice cream are milder in taste. Both the Pi Pa Gao Mint and Honey Chamomile & Butterfly Pea Flowers flavours are decent by itself, even better with waffle

Lovely slice of bread & butter pudding. It’s a bit dry but prefect when paired with the cream and sauce. The layers are colourful like a art piece. It’s limited serving daily. Also tried out Bacha’s brewed coffee for the first time. I had C9007, Black Amarena Coffee ($11), which has strong nutty flavours
