Chai grows up in a traditional Chinese family and have been missing the home cooked food ever since he was transferred to Singapore to work. He is always in search of the taste of Home。

Blue Flower Tofu w
Black Truffle Wild Rice - $15.80
·
The wild rice served supposedly is a good source for protein, fiber, folate, magnesium and other nutrients. The rice has lots of texture as well. Accompanied with butterfly pea flower infused tofu and fragrant black truffle paste, overall a rather flavourful meat-less dish

Meat Patty w Egg Sandwich Set
With Milk Tea - $9.60
·
Yummy meat patty sandwiched in between charcoal toasted thick cut toasts. Somehow the meat patty taste kinda close to Bak Kwa due to the sweetness. Quite homely feel, especially when paired with a cup of milk tea to wash it all down

Mixed Beef w Tendon Soup
Large Bowl - $10.80
·
Tasty beef soup kway chap. The kway teow was already sold out during lunch, that’s how popular they are. The soup has a mild sweetness which I really love. The ingredients are really generous as well. That explains why they shop is so popular

Japanese Wagyu Sandwich - $29.5
·
Feel the fats from the chuck of Wagyu meat as you sink your teeth into this awesome sandwich. That’s simply beyond words. Coated the Wagyu is a thin crust that provide extra crisp together with the toasted bread. Go ahead share the dish with your buddies, they will love it too. Rice Hut is also famous for their yummy braised rice! I would recommend Braised Rice w Abalone & Seafood ($18.5) & Braised Rice w Grilled Eel ($16.50). You can pick a base, fried rice w egg, plain rice, kway teow or even ramen!, but I love love the mui fan style, yummy and felt so homely. You won’t regret trying them

The TSP Experience - $50
·
The TSP Experience comes with the following spread: Triple Cooked Yam, Pork Chop, Cold Tofu, Lu Rou 2.0, Burnt Chilli Chicken, Cabbage,Red Tea Jelly Dessert, 2 set of Rice & Drinks. The 2 pax meal actually is sufficient for 4, just add rice and drink at $3 per pax
·
Triple Cooked Yam is definitely my favourite. Not commonly found, yam cubes fried to fragrant, crisp on the outside, still tender on the inside. Served with chilli mayonnaise by the side which is such a nice addition

Lu Rou 2.0 - $15
Oyster Omelette - $15
·
Oyster omelette is common Taiwan street food, but sadly the one offered in salted plum falls short on expectations. The highlight was instead the Lu Rou! It’s so soft and tender. Well braised, goes very well with the Shiny Rice ($1), which comes with lard and garlic oil drizzled at the top

Baked BBQ Pork Buns - $6.30
·
My all time favourite item from THW. Thin crispy crust with sweet savoury bbq pork fillings inside. The right balance of flavours and texture makes this one of the classic item of THW. Their BBQ Pork Rice Rolls ($6) is really nice, sweet bbq pork wrapped under the smooth silky rice roll that thin and light, flavoured with fragrant sweet sauce. Salted egg lover will like the Sesame balls w molten salted egg ($4.50). Fragrance sesame balls that has a thin crust, explodes with molten salted egg filing in one nice bite

Signature Beef Noodles (S) - $8.90
·
Serving a big bowl of beef noodle soup. I picked the leek leave noodles which feels like any standard noodles. Soup is clear and light. Beef slices are still tender.
Chilli and black vinegar by the side, which I feel is a great dipping sauce for both the noodle and the beef

红油抄手 - $8.80
Wanton w Vinegar & Chili Oil
·
Generous portion of 8 wanton for just $8.80, I could seriously finish it all by myself! The skin is thin, meat is juicy. Just the right spicy level, vinegar taste wasn’t too empowering too. Most importantly they added Chai Poh! It gave additional crunch and that sweet savoury taste

Red Garoupa Fish Steamboat
Small for up to 4 pax - $65
·
This charcoal steamboat looks awesome, tasty just as good. Soup taste fresh and savoury, goes well with a bowl of rice. Free flow top up of soup. Red garoupa fish slices are fresh and tender as well, remember not to overcook it. Somehow the charcoal steamboat felt much tastier than other regular steamboat, maybe because of the heat? Love it , a nice environment to chit chat with friends while dining as well
