Cafes In Subang
It used to be a hype here. Or maybe still yes. Was visit this place while the students nearby are having sem break, plus it is a public holiday so the cafe seems to be too quiet around the area. Matcha Adzuki waffle (RM17.90) seems to be a little bit of expensive compare to the other waffle out there, serve with a scoop of matcha ice cream and some adzuki bean (red mung) paste beside. It's a little bit of disappointment as the waffle is not what we expected. Not crispy not soft. Cappuccino (RM10.90).
Apparently all the cafehoppers would know bout this cafe as their signature molten cake is pretty yummy and it is their signature. The Salted egg yolk molten cakes (RM17) is one of list that you should try in their cafe. All of the molten cakes are crafted by using the finest Belgian Chocolate Couvertures and baked to order. It paired with Vanilla Ice Cream on crumble, rice puffs and curry leaves. The moist cake did encasing to two separate layers of thick liquid, which are the inner core salted egg yolk custard and sweet liquid form (Belgian white chocolate). It tastes quite good when you shoved everything together into the mouth. Ps: the curry leaf is edible. They also introduce the molten cake sets, which is molten cake of your choice and hot or cold Viet drip/ cold brew Americano at RM21.90. I would suggest to share with others as you might feel cloying after eating the whole cake by your own.
The cafe is very well-known around Sunway area. Was told that they changed their menu so go for a try. In frame: Arriabiata Spaghetti with chicken (RM10) (set lunch on Tuesday). Their set lunch menu is having different food everyday, and also come with an Iced Lemon Tea. If you want to change to coffee, you need to top up for RM3 and Mocha for RM5. Not really like the taste and it's quite weird to me. Pasta is too soft for my preference. Chicken Breast Burger (RM23) is really nice, especially their sauce. A perfect match with the chicken breast. A bit spicy yet I prefer spicier. But still, it is very filling with wedges. If you wonder what to drink, chocolate based drinks should be your first choice. Their Mocha is really smooth and the sweetness is just on point. Service is good as they are charging 10% for service charge.
Other than molten cake, their food is really delicious. Food in frame: Grilled Chicken Rice Bowl (RM15.90) comes with choices of drinks - ice lemon tea/lemonade/soft drinks or add on RM7 for coffee or fresh juice. It serves with chicken thigh marinated in homemade peanut sauce with Japanese egg and rice. Portion is not that big but scrumptious. Will definitely come back to try their other menu.
