I'm now in a food coma after the delicious spread of food at @TheLandmarkSingapore in @VillageInSG
The first smell that hit me when I walked into the restaurant was the mouth watering Tulang. Rich creamy, full bodied soup, accompanied with huge bones with fork tender meat.
Another must try item was the Butter Chicken 🐔 . Super tender chicken, covered in a rich buttery sauce.
The Chilli Crab 🦀 served here, wasn't the usual type with watery sauce to mop up with buns. Instead the version here was flower crabs covered in a rich and thick sambal paste.

Not to be outdone, Street 50 has also launched their own variation of salted egg yolk dishes, not one but two of them. One of it is the deep fried Soft Shell Crab with Salted Egg Dip ($7.90). What truly stood out was the inclusion of curry leaves and chilli padi into the salted egg yolk dip which makes it better than many others. However, it could be watered down slightly and have a smoother texture as the one that we got was way too thick.

At around $60 per person for all you can eat a fresh seafood and international buffet, I'd say that was a pretty sweet deal (like their crabs) The Alaskan crabs were so sweet and fresh I couldn't help but close my eyes and savor every bite. The oysters are also topped up regularly so you know they're fresh. Besides the seafood - think fresh mussels, prawns and baby octopus (I'd skip this one but the prawns are good) they also have a decent range of other cuisines. The beef was carved off right in front of me and was a little hard to cut, but was charred just the right amount and done medium rare. I'll be back again!

Urgh just so good! The spices of two type of chilli , pepper and the "numbing" seeds (麻辣) deep fried with the large intestines, is simply way too heavenly. Although the intestines could be clean better, to take away the smell, the strong spices did help to musk it. So delicious and surprisingly not oily at all, this dish goes great with white rice (as you know China food tend to be on the saltier/oily). Because of the numbing seeds, please take care not to bite into them cause it will live up to its name, and numb your mouth! 😅

Their Free-flow Wagyu has no T&Cs so just GO FOR IT! Check out the marbling of the meat, it melts in your mouth so quickly you just wanna throw more meat onto the grill! Also do try grilling the salmon which was my next favourite ! Definitely also try their tempura and salmon sashimi, both are great sides for the meaty BBQ! Located at Orchard Gateway@Emerald, Goro Goro seems to attract a crowd of both young and old that are in the mood for some comforting steamboat fun.

With 6 soup bases to choose from (Mala, Tom Yum, Beauty Collagen, Ginseng Chicken, Tomato & Vegetarian) as well as a nice selection of cooked dishes and steamboat items, Goro Goro provides a pleasant dinning experience especially so as an affordable steamboat buffet option in town. Having the Collagen and Ginseng Chicken, I found both to be light yet flavourful. The items were fresh and the cooked dishes such as the japchae was decent.

I had my doubts before starting my meal here - really judgy of me by its restaurant outlooks and logo. However, they really impress me with the freshness of there sashimi (especially when buffet standards are really scary). Pictured here is surprisingly really part of buffet meal, if you are familiar with Ikoi Japanese Buffet - this is similar ala carte buffet style (which means that only things you ordered with be served to your table).
