Flavors Of Laos

Very common meat salad in Laos, sometimes referred to as the national dish! This version was made with fish and lots of veggies and mint! Yum, but be careful on how spicy you want to order it!

After a morning exploring beautiful temples and wandering around in sunny Vientiane, this icy drink really hit the spot! I really enjoyed the sophistication that the citrus added to amp up what may otherwise have been a typical watermelon ice blended.

Laotian chicken noodle soup to get the day started just right! Intensely flavorful broth, reminiscent of Vietnamese pho and yet new to my palate as well!
