Please note that the sashimi set at Wasabi tei comes with rice and I opted to change it to their special flat Udon which is an additional $2. It was raining heavily that day and this was very comforting to have. Yums! If the flat udon isn't for you, just get the usual sashimi set with rice for $22, it is as good. :-)

I recently realized that the branch at Orchard Central has closed but! There is still the other branch at Suntec City.

Visited sumiya for Lunch and definitely loved the garden view at OC, it was located at the top level and you could head outside to explore after you have finished your meal. I remembered this being one of my favourite when it comes to sashimi and the Mochi was super. Lunch is very affordable as this costs only $25. This meal comes with sesame salad as well. Hoping that the branch at suntec won't disappoint now!

Fell in love with garlic fried rice all thanks to Shunjuu. I'm someone who doesn't enjoy the aftertaste of garlic but the one here is super, couldn't bear to finish my bowl. Another memorable dish was their Pitan-Tofu and range of skewers. I remembered seeing a lunch menu and would definitely go back to try!

Visited the branch in holland village and wasn't expecting much as we walked in without plans but this place turns out to be my favourite place for pork-based broth Ramen! The meat was melt-in-your-mouth ish and I liked the texture of the noodles, it was springy and had a nice bite.

Love at first bite with Fat Cow Donburi! I opted for just the beef, without the foiegras. This lunch set ($49) came with a walnut salad and strawberry ice cream for dessert. Yum! Love how fragrant the rice was and how well everything came together in a dish.

The sashimi at Hachi Tei was not too bad, ordered a udon in hot pot with tempura at $16 as well. I remembered we were one of the two tables present that night, staff was very pleasant :-)

#sashimi

Always passed by this place if I was on the way to Yoga and decided to dine in on a Sunday night for dinner.

I was seated in front of the chef and the staff at Sushi Kou were very welcoming, I chose the cod fish set (with sashimi) for $25. They have a lot of variety when it comes to ala carte or set meals, pricing is affordable too. I wanted to try many different items from the menu, it's good! Unlike certain places where you walk in and there's many items on the menu yet none appeals.

Sashimi is yummy but for cod fish alone, I may stick to my usual haunt at Takashimaya Basement.
