Café For A Date⛱

Pork chop with bone in, grilled and comes with a side of curry sauce. Paired it up with potato wedges. The meat itself was quite thick, but it is not hard for that thickness. Curry sauce was quite diluted, not to my liking. Prefer it in original flavour!

Smoked duck breast with portobello mushroom and freshly mashed pumkin soup.

Pan roasted turkey served with sides such as pumpkin, carrots and asparagus

Affordable cafe price within westgate for a piece of grilled chicken. Quite an average piece of chicken that is passable. The black pepper sauce at the side is quite peppery though. Potato wedges are quite dry, seems like is air fried.

Baguette bun was surpringly soft even though the food was not warm when served to us. It comes with a really big cheesy hotdog and topped off with more melted cheese on top. It was relatively a surprise for this dish to me, especially the bun.

One of the savoury mains off their menu. Toast baked with cheese and topped up with even more cheese wedge for those cheesy lover. It comes with a cup of honey at the side to top off any amount as you wish. I think it was left there for quite a while and it was not warm when served to us. Hence the toast was quite dry.

Good alternative to the sweet dessert. Refreshing choice for those who doesn’t have a sweet tooth. Garnished with lime skin on top, and comes with a hard crust base.

Warm and fluffy pancake topped with slices of banana and a scoop of ice cream! The crunchy granola give a different taste texture to their soft couterparts. Really love the combination of fire and ice!

Decide to make a healthier choice by going for their basic salad. Pumpkin was sweet and cook to soft but not too over till it runs out of shape. Spinach leaves tossed with lemongrass vinaigrette to give a refreshing taste for a light morning brunch.

Pulled pork was on the spicier side. The sesame bun was slightly pan-fried, which surprises me. Something that i have not tasted before in other cafe.

The truffle mayo was interesting as compared to the usual truffle oil and it gets pretty addictive. Don’t be shy to get more of the truffle mayo from the staff 🙈🙈 (because that’s what i do) Anyway, the curly fries was fried to golden brown, i would say better than those from macdonalds.

Rainbow bagel slab with beef patty and melted cheese. May have look scary with the colourful bread as sometimes colourful = poison 😂

The beef patty was quite juicy, and topped with a layer of cheese to give another enhanced flavour. But the bagel was mehz, just think bread lol.
