Sweet Treat To End The Day 🍫🍰🍭🍪🍬

Ice cream stick in houjicha latte flavour. It tastes more like matcha to me though. There are red bean in the middle to give the ice cream a different dimension of flavour!

Strong caramel taste that is super duper sweet!! Is quite worth it for a $1.3 ice cream!

Sweet pistachio filling bombolini that is topped with icing sugar. Pistachio is a tad too sweet and the filling was not alot. The donut here was a tad too dry, probably due to the off ratio of donut to filling.

The first bombolini that i tried was in UK and this is the only store i had seen selling bombolinis. Bought a box of 6 and tried their best selling flavour. Donut that was filled with flowing custard cream with a torched top. Love the custard cream that was so flow-y which filled the whole donut.

One of the famous dessert that all teochew must know how to made and will eat. Paste-y yam was mashed and serve in a whole plate soaking in sugar syrup. It seems intimidating but when u mix the sugar syrup well, the sugar will complements the whole dish easpcially the yam. It was super hard to make it good so u would say i definitely come back just for this!

One of the instagram famouse cookie has open their flagship shop in the recently relaunched Funan. They had a range of “nasty” looking cookie that looks sinfully indulgence. We had their peanut butter and i would say the cookie texture was similar to the lava cookies. It has this grainny texture and it was super soft. There was a reese peanut butter cup topped onto the cookie. Not a big fan of this cookie, would definitely have choosen Ben’s over them on any other day.

Sweet and chocolatey filling with hint of sea salt. The thin tart base added a slight crunch to the dessert. Would definitely love to have more sea salt taste and lesser sweetness from the chocolate filling.

Pick of the day: Aiyu jelly, taro ball and sweet potato ball.

For the second bowl we opt for their recommended cookie butter with an addition of a dollar top up. Very thick and sweet, which blends in well with the sourish acai at the bottom. It kinds of pair well off with the overall taste.

One of the new acai store in Plaza Sing with a small seating area of 8 pax. All thanks to burpple beyond and we had 2 of these shiok bowl at the price for 1. Opt for the almond butter on this bowl, acai was slightly sourish but the fruits topping was great! Almond butter was good, very nutty but i wish for more butter drizzled.

Coffee sponge cake layered with vanilla cream in between and topped with caramelised walnut bits. This cake was a tad disappointing from all the Starbucks raving review for their cakes. Probably it was left in the fridge for quite awhile, and it was quite hard and it felt dense in my mouth. But the caramelised walnut is really good, still crunchy and sweet!

Strong black sesame flavour cake from the famous Hvala shop located at Chijmes. The flavour was rich but i did prefer it to be more intense. But was kind of disappointed at the cake itself, the cake was moist but not soft. The cake was a tad too dense to me.
