Not the most pleasant of photo, but what it lacks in look, it makes up for it in taste. This kimchi soup was chock full of ingredients and had my brother nodding in satisfaction. Flavourful and spicy, this hits all the right spot, especially on a rainy afternoon. I’d highly recommend all to try this hole in the wall place at Concorde!
Extremely worth the price! Got it delivered to my place and not only were the food tasty, it was still warm! As you can see from the photo, it was packed to the brim with chicken and I even had leftovers after finishing my rice. If I were to buy the same dish at a foodcourt, it would have been the other way round.
Found a new favourite Korean restaurant in town! Taste was pretty authentic too, none of that watered down sauce that you’ll get elsewhere 💯
Came for the set lunch and got the Beef Claypot Noodle, with the broth sweet and tasting like that of sukiyaki, even though there's glass noodles in it, a bowl of piping hot rice accompanied it as well, making this meal carbs loaded.
Back for their jjampong! Vongole was superb as usual, with the broth being really fresh and full of seafood sweetness. They were really generous with their clams and mussels, I actually can’t finish all of them 😂
and of course, how could I give their army stew a miss?! Junk food for life guys. And I think I’m here one too many times, been abusing the Burpple beyond 1-1 deal a little too much the waiter might actually start to recognise me
Kimcheese Fried Rice was decently good! The waiter was there to help you give it a good mix before serving it to you. The bonito flakes, as you can see, is abundant, and further added on to the overall flavour of this dish. They certainly did not go easy with the cheese, which is good because you get to do a micro cheese pull every time you scoop up a spoonful of rice 😁
The Kimchi Fried Rice tasted delicious in comparison to their Ja Jiang Myeon (the bars have been set pretty low). My only qualm was that it was too salty 😪 pretty subpar food, I’d say go with their army stew for a more appetising experience.
Ja Jang Myeon was horrible. The sauce tasted rather queer, with a strong bean/herbal smell to it
Jjam Pong here has a slight charred taste to it and not exactly to my liking. Left half the bowl intact and ate their banchan instead 😪
Here for the jjamppong at my friend’s recommendation! The broth was addictive and spicy, full of flavour from the seafood that came along with it. While it is not numbingly spicy till you break out a sweat, it does make you reach out for more water. Quite shiok, I must say.
Found another new haunt for my Korean chicken craving. Serving affordable lunch sets, OFC is situation in Telok Ayer for any of you CBD crowd who is too lazy to walk over to Tanjong Pagar (like me) to get your Korean fried chicken cravings fixed during lunch!
As usual, I can’t finish a meal here everytime I patronise them. It’s not that their food ain’t nice but the serving is hella huge. They have a main, followed by 4 side dishes, a bowl of kimchi, a packet of seaweed followed by a drink of your choice. Always ending up with a food coma after a satisfying meal. Send halp please.
