⭐️ 4.5/5 ⭐️ 🍴Been coming here very often & since it's starting days but never posted about it. Their famed beef is as good as ever - juicy and crispy on the top - and paired well with caramelized onions, potato wedges & special rice fried with beef lard.
⚠️ Called new ubin SEAFOOD but best known for their classic zichar dishes like boss beehoon, mee goreng and shrimp paste chicken so best to order these > seafood

This was our preferred method of cooking the sweet crustaceans. #yummy #sgfood #burpple
Pretty legit
Slow-cooked over charcoal with succulent chicken, lup cheong (Chinese sausage), yun cheong (Chinese duck liver sausage), and salted fish
For all its popularity, the nasi lemak was simply below average - too soggy rice, overly fried chicken wings, soaked in oil eggs. Definitely a drop in standards from the past
The egomaniac in me always thinks I know the best (or at least better) makan spots, and the boyfriend usually agrees and defers to my opinion. I'm always a little skeptical on the rare occasion he suggests a dining spot less heard off; but more often than not I'm happily proved wrong.
Jacob's been one of our favourites since he first took me. Stunning hearty European fare: from stews, sausages, to the best pork knuckle I've had both in and out of Singapore. It's comfort food at it's best, and even better cause not many've heard of it! It's THE place to go when we're not having the best of days, when I don't really wanna use my brains, or when we want some time to ourselves. Good stuffs are meant to be shared so here goes; but fingers crossed it'll still be as homely, as personal, many years down the road. #EatBurpLove
Don't think there's anywhere else offering cheaper Sri Lankan crabs than here in 21 Seafood - $25 for 3 small crabs, $30 for 2 medium and $40 for 2 large ones! PLUS, choose from 16 different cooking styles (which had us really torn among the choices like Creamy Butter, 'Kam Heong' and good ol' Chili). Sauce was buttery and creamy, crabs were surprisingly good for the price though I might go with the medium ones next time. Please get yourself some fried fluffy mantous too to mop up all that sauce!!!
We enjoyed the decent zi char spread here, food was served quickly and prices were reasonable. A very no frills kind of place great for group meals! #BurppleCheapNGood
