One of the best pizza crust I’ve ever had- this comes with a roti prata-alike texture that was flaky and crispy! ✨ Along with the characteristic laksa toppings of prawns, clams, fishcake, squid (which I omitted), quail eggs, the pizza base comes with a laksa spread instead of the usual tomato, one that came with a fragrant, aromatic tinge of spice. Would be great if the toppings were more evenly spread out as some slices came without prawns but nevertheless, both my dining partner and I were hooked onto this dish which surprisingly did not turn out to be overwhelming at all! 😋 .

An Italian twist to korean cuisine, this cream spaghetti is served with Saesongi mushrooms and bacon topped with huge, tender and crispy pork ribs. The spaghetti is bathed in a thick and creamy sauce, resembling that of a carbonara, with tender and smoky bacon strips as well as thick and chewy king oyster mushrooms. Perhaps what’s missing is just the onsen egg atop, in replacement with 3 huge chunks of pork ribs. Adorned with a crisp golden brown batter, the pork ribs were tender but a tad dry for my liking. The ratio of batter:meat was an unbalanced one as well, with the seemingly gigantic size deriving from the batter instead of the latter 😢. .
On a side note, I heard that this fusion dish is only available at the 313 somerset outlet! With @burpple beyond, you can get to enjoy 1-for-1 for all food items here (including the side dishes ie. egg rolls and pancakes). Do note that price of lowest item (and NOT mains) would be the one that’s FOC though! Wasn’t inform of this rule prior to my order but thank goodness the crew on duty that day allowed me to obtain 1-for-1 for the mains, despite my order of an extra egg roll. .

✨ Garnished with coconut flakes and heaps of milo powder, the milo ice cream seemed to have stolen the limelight here, with its chocolatey, malty flavour overwhelming the gula melaka lava. Would be good if there’s more coconut flakes instead of milo powder! Pandan fragrance was pretty mild in the cookie, but I still adore its texture very much and this is also the key factor to my repeated visits - a dense, sufficiently moist and slightly chewy interior coupled with crisp edges! 💖Kinda like a subway cookie which I am a huge fan of, that’s thicker and more fudgy. Would have been great if there was more gula melaka filling though, as there seem to be a mere presence within the cookie after the eruption 🙈 .

Upon ordering, the staff warned us that this dish could be quite spicy but of course, these warnings doesn’t ring any bells in my ears, as one who adores spice. True enough, the fiery factor was one that posed a challenge to my dining partner, though not so for me, still manageable and not the worst I’ve encountered. The spaghetti is served with spicy grilled chicken, assorted vegetables ranging from capsicum, broccoli to king oyster mushrooms, topped with a layer of melted gooey cheese. Though the spice was distinct and lingering, my sensitive tastebuds could still detect the presence of the tangy tomato as the base, which I wasn’t a fan of and in fact, loath it 🤢. Would have preferred if gochujang / non-tomato sauce as the base instead 😞. Nevertheless, it’s a pretty satisfying dish if you are a fan of spicy food, along with a generous portion tender grilled chicken chunks, crunchy assorted greens and a thick layer of cheesy goodness! ✨ .

Thanks to @burpple ‘s Burpple Beyond, I managed to obtain a 1-for-1 deal for the mains here, which makes the trip (and treat) more worthwhile! 👍🏻 . Ambience here is pretty great for a hangout spot at night with your kakis, a dim albeit well-lit (by spotlights) interior that portrays a night market setting- as the name suggests! Though of course, not in New York 😂 , and without the need to shove through crowds as well! ✨

Yet another fusion food where the East meets the West, this 13 inch pizza comprises of spicy dried shrimp topped with sliced egg tofu on a thin crusted base. Love how the spicy dried shrimps added not only a tinge of spice but also a pleasant umami fragrance to the pizza, the main highlight here which overshadowed the characteristic tangy tomato paste (thank goodness 🙏🏻!). Along with a top layer of thick, gooey melted cheese, each slice is topped with egg tofu that was soft, silky and wobbly, also a lighter element that serve as a counterbalance to the other heavier ones, typically the spicy dried shrimp paste. The pizza crust was also thin and crisp on the edges, though the interior could have been more solid and les fragile. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed this pizza for its unique flavour and the fragrant tinge of spice that makes it nice! 😋 .

Goodbye to one my favourite mystery flavours from @matchayasg, as it bids farewell today 👋🏻😢. Featured here is the upsized version (redeemed from Candybar) which explains the taller swirl. The twist of Matcha and Lavender was surprisingly a great and compatible combination, with the earthy, umami flavour of matcha perfumed with a floral fragrance, just like a floral tea! 💜 For those who aren’t a fan of bitter and strong matcha, this would be a perfect combination for u, with the characteristic bitter undertone being toned down by the lingering floral aroma of lavender. On a side note, I m also looking forward to the next mystery flavour as always! 🙃 .

Mac & Cheese in a DIM SUM basket?!! 😱 Kudos to this unique and creative presentation 👏👏! Aesthetics aside, this dish worked wonders to my palate as well, with a thick layer of crusty, gooey melted mozzarella & cheese as a blanket over a bed of macaroni baked in creamy bechamel sauce, along with bacon bits and chicken strips embedded within. Love how the bechamel sauce was creamy, rich and flavourful, sinful yet comfort food for the soul, without a piquant and overwhelming cheesy flavour that I was afraid of. Garnished with croutons for an added crunch, I also added on a poached egg atop - which had eagerly revealed it’s vibrant golden hues when served. Nevertheless, the yolk was still a runny, liquefied one that added both visuals and palatabillity to the overall dish. Pretty generous in portion, with the bacon bits contributing to a savoury smoky flavour, along with tender chicken strips. For those with a heavier palate, it might be a manageable dish for one as a meal. Otherwise, you can consider grabbing a kaki along with u to share the calories (and joy) and perhaps an excuse to check out the other dishes here as well! Personally I really enjoyed this dish (being a fan of cheese as well) and felt that this cafe is really underrated! It’s a pity they would be ceasing operations on 25th July! Till then... do drop by to check out this place before they are gone👋🏻😢 .

By the folks behind @dear.nesuto , these soufflé pancakes are only available at the Food Fiesta at @takashimayasg (which is unfortunately over😢👋🏻). With 3 options of flavours available, I opted for the “Caramelised banana, rich nutella and salted caramel” which actually came with just “banana slices and salted caramel” instead. Nevertheless, the main highlight here remains the soufflé pancake that’s freshly prepared upon order, with a soft, fluffy texture that’s also slightly wobbly! ✨The cotton-like and pillowy texture was in fact one of the best I’ve had in Singapore so far! Gentle reminder: Do consume it (and snap your shots) fast though as the pancakes might start sinking in after awhile and lose their characteristic puffed-up appearance. Not only did the texture hit spot on but these pancakes came with a fragrant eggy flavour and lingering buttery fragrance that was a great satisfaction to my palate! 😋💕 Along with banana slices (wish they were more ripe though) and drizzles of salted caramel sauce, the pancakes tasted just as great in silo! Do consider launching it as a permanent item in Nesuto? 😉 .

2 blocks of brioche toast topped with custard and a layer of torched caramelised sugar, this french toast also came with a scoop of pistachio ice cream, along with passionfruit, mixed berries and popcorn. Toast is soft and pillowy with a slightly crisp exterior. Coupled with a smooth, luscious and creamy custard spread and a thin layer of crisp caramelised sugar that added a pleasant tinge of sweetness, it would be great if there is some buttery fragrance to the toast which was apparently lacking greatly here. The assorted berries and passionfruit added a tangy, sour note which served as a great counterbalance to the sweetness. On the other hand , the Pistachio ice cream was smooth, creamy and nutty. Not a fan of pistachio though, hence I would personally prefer if standard flavours of ice cream are served instead, or perhaps MATCHA if possible 🤭 .

Comprising of chicken luncheon meat, otah, omelette, seasonal salad, this set also comes with Ikan bilis & peanuts, seasonal salad on a bed of basmati brown-white rice. Along with your choice of sauce, I opted for the one with the highest spice level - Garlic chilli. The spiciness is rather pronounced and distinct here but i would certainly not mind an increase in intensity 🙈. The medallion is not served in this set by default, but you can always top up for an additional add-on for $1.50 - which is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and in fact, the BEST element here (for me😌). Made in house, this panko-crusted coin shaped patty is made with cauliflower, potatoes and cheese grinded and mashed into a smooth, creamy texture within the thin layer of crisp exterior. Love the lingering buttery fragrance and the lingering piquant cheesy flavour as well! 💖 Sold at my first bite, I could easily pop a few more into my mouth and wouldn’t mind coming back again just for this!!😋 The otah is also made in-house, which is my 2nd favourite element here. On the other hand, I do adore how the chicken luncheon meat wasn’t overwhelmingly salty, a pleasant savoury note with a thick, chunky and meat-like mouthfeel. The omelette here is also pretty substantial, with a pancake-like texture and thickness. Along with edamame, corns, diced rockmelon cubes, the basmati rice is made using coconut oil instead of coconut milk, a healthier alternative that’s suited for the weight watchers and health conscious. No doubt the coconut flavour is much milder here, but of course at the comprise of health or palatability- which would u go for?😉 . Indeed a great place to satisfy my Nasi lemak cravings, with a lower level of guilt and sin 😌 .
Thanks @sambaltime for the wonderful time and feast, as well as @msjaniceeats for extending the invite! 🙆🏻‍♀️💕.

Seasonal special for the month of July, this ramen comes with a fusion of Italian and Japanese cuisine, comprising of ramen tossed in a creamy carbonara sauce, topped with breaded prawn and scallops, ramen egg, spring onions, seaweed and black pepper. A dry style ramen that actually resembled a pasta instead, apart from the different types of noodles used. The ones here actually felt pretty similar to the Samyamg korean instant ramen 😅. Best to consume it while hot as otherwise the noodles might turn soft and soggy. The breaded prawns and scallops had unfortunately lost their crispness from the thick, creamy sauce. Personally adore the scallops which came with a soft and chewy texture, prawns were decent but would have been better if it’s relatively bigger in size with more juiciness. Along with spring onions and seaweed that added a pleasant umami note, the presence of black pepper also added a tinge of spice, a great counterbalance to the otherwise overwhelming and heavy dish. The set also came with green tea (hot/cold) which is refillable, one-bite gyoza and ice cream(lemon ginger, vanilla, goma or matcha). The gyoza here, differs from the typical ones out there, with a size that’s tiny and can be eaten in ONE BITE (as the name suggest). However, I felt that the exterior could have been more crisp and there was a porky stench in the minced meat fillings that I personally wasn’t a fan of. As for the ice cream, no doubt my decision would be Matcha which unfortunately failed to impress and was lacklustre, with a vague hint of matcha flavour that was barely detectable amidst the milkiness and also the presence of tiny ice crystals within the scoops. Although I do enjoy the carbonara ramen still, I must admit that I feel it isn’t exactly worth the price paid for, as this dish seemed to be one that can be easily replicated in your home kitchen . .
[PS: This seasonal ramen is not applicable to any other promotions ie. Eatigo or Favepay] .
