One of the recommended items, this chicken burger was a pretty satisfying affair. Tender chicken breast fillet, juicy tomatoes, pickled beetroot and those fluffy buns! Tasty but lacked an exciting element to it and thought the burger in general could have been warmer but overall still a good burger I suppose.
Opened a few weeks ago, the space is quite cool with the expected café decor (bare bulbs and funky mosaic tiling). Definitely seems like a quiet place you could chill at with the wifi provided.
Chilli Pepper Croquette
Crispy and chewy Amook filled with chopped chili pepper and fresh vegetables 》$2.30
Bacon Dog
Bacon-rolled Amook, perfect for snack 》$2.80
This stuff is goooood. Loved both dogs but i think the cheesy one is a bit better! Received good service from the two ladies at the kiosk too.
One might remember Royal London Duck that previously occupied this spot at basement 1, The Dining Place also prides itself for its Irish fat duck, along with its noodle and dim sum offered here.
We tried its signature treasure box that included a sampling platter of its roast meats, dim sum and noodles. We enjoyed the bamboo noodles with that special XO mushroom sauce and big plump onsen egg. Their char siew would appeal to those who prefer leaner meat although we wished it was fattier and juicer. The Irish fat duck definitely stood out, so much so we would go for an ala carte portion of it next time. Comparatively, the dim sum in the box played decent supporting roles to the formers. Overall, this would be recommended to those who enjoy more variety for a meal, especially when it came at an appealing price of $13.99.

A good friend recommended the cheese and egg melt and I am glad we ordered it. Oozy, fluffy scrambled eggs with cheese and an additional side order of house made bacon all nicely tucked between their fluffy brioche bun, this was truly delicious and calorie worthy.

The first place which I saw after visiting the clinic upstairs. The scrambled egg was moist and creamy which went well with moist thick buttery toast.

I've tried the prawn aglio olio ($7.90) and the mushroom+crab angel hair pasta ($6.50 inclusive of the added egg). Both are good! Didn't know I can get good french food in raffles place area for under $8. Really value for money! The queues are short and preparation time is quick, so there's no need to wait too long. Just need to "chope" seats at this crowded foodcourt.
The cubano (pull pork sandwich) though cost $16, but it is totally out of the world. U have to try it urself.
Since our yoga nearby, we are planning to try most of their sandwich. 👍🏻 4/5

Linguine, seafood broth, grated parmesan, garlic confit. The Chef really made this dish im-pasta-ble (pun intended) to resist !
