They are so generous with the fillings, the char siew just oozes out from the buns. I'm not supposed to eat Char Siew cos high cal but this is totally worth the calories!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😋 Best part, I like it when I can order my food in canto haha! 好有親切感!😄

Beef Brisket and Tendon Noodles - The dish comes with a generous portion of egg noodles, which were springy and did not have a strong alkaline taste.

I love fish soup and I would put this as my TOP 5 fish soup list that I’ve tried so far in Singapore. No milk is used to thicken the broth, which is so flavourful with wok hei as well. I added for more fish and fish roe to my bowl, making this a $10 meal but it was so, so satisfying. 😍
紅油抄手 Spicy Wonton - $5.00
鍋貼 Pan fried dumplings (10pcs) - $6.50
四川擔擔麵 Spicy Tantan Noodles - $4.00
Queue about 30 mins but it’s al worth it!
They sell a lot of curry, chicken curry to be exact. People before me (& after me) order chicken curry as a standard. Curry packs a spicy punch, & smells fragrant with hints of kafir lime leaves. I usually complete my order with the fried chicken, long beans, egg omelette & of course the sambal balacan chili! Shiok!
Posting this again because #BurppleSGCheapNGood $12 for this big plate of duck and braised everything!!
Last night, I was swimming in happiness when I finally got my hands on this rare bowl of yu gai mai aka 'Fish Fillet Noodles' from An Ji.
Lightly fried to a beautiful golden brown, the freshness and texture of the meat is accentuated through the light frying, resulting in a fish fillet that easily breaks as you chew.
The soup also differs from the usual fish noodle soup. This one still contains the natural sweetness but somehow less 'thick' and comes with a slight dose of sesame sauce and garlic (presumably from the yu gai mai).
