52 Sandwich Shack has been getting lots of rave since itβs opened and though they are known for their sandwiches, I thought Iβd try their fries as well! ππ»
.
The fries could be more crispy as it was a tad bit soggy. The sauce was on the sweeter side, and could use a bit more kick! The chilli did give a spicy effect to the whole dish in general though. The staff is really helpful and friendly so a double thumbs up for them! ππ» If Iβm in the area and craving for salted egg sauce, this will be my go-to place! .

Bless this curry puff ππ» I'm still in complete awe at how long this curry puff stays hot for! Super crispy and still warm even after more than half an hour.
This curry puff has a moist inside and a sweet taste and slightly spicy taste, unlike most curry puff stores which only has a bland taste.
They also sell a variety of flavors here so do go down and check them out βΊοΈ

Another one of my favorite small eats to have ever since I was a little girl :-) Sad to say that the standard has dropped since then but it's still delicious and one of the best egg tarts in Singapore.
The custard was sweet and fragrant, and I could taste the egg-y taste in the custard while tart was flaky. It's also one of the few stores in Singapore that still sells the traditional diamond-shaped egg tarts. I also love their Nonya Kaya and I've been having it ever since young and I personally feel that it's one of the best Kayas sold in Singapore so do purchase it while you're there as well!

The toast was super duper crispy and thick at the same time. However, the thai tea kaya lacked depth of flavor, and though I was soaking my toast with the sauce, I just couldn't taste the flavor of the kaya. A little disappointed with the sauce but super satisfied with the toasts!

I've posted a review on their egg tarts before but dang, this picture does so much more justice to their egg tarts so here's another review!
By far, this is one of my favorite egg tarts in Singapore. The tart is soft and not flakey (yesss!!) and their egg custard such a smooth and bright yellow yellow that it was just calling out to you to eat it! The egg custard was smooth and I could taste the egg-y flavor in the custard, which many stalls lacked. I would definitely travel all the way here just to get egg tarts, and I don't think I've eaten any other egg tarts since Tai Cheong's either π€

The flavor is rather mild and not as sweet as many other cream puffs like Beard Papa's so I really liked it. The melon on the soft puff gave it a crispy texture, which went really well with the custard cream.
If you're craving for something light on a work day, this is your go-to! βΊοΈ

The cold milk tea ($2.80) was just average as I personally prefer my milk tea to be a little sweeter but I have to admit, the egg tart is to die for. The egg tart ($1.90) came to my table and a bite into this egg tart sent me to heaven. The egg was the texture of pudding and the puff pastry was hot and soft, just the way I liked it. One of the best egg tarts I have ever had, in fact it was so good I couldn't resist buying 4 more egg tarts home. The staff was super friendly and I had such a pleasant experience here!
