wanted to try out Do & Mi’s extra large chicken cutlet but it was closed that day. So end up with Tomyam banmian (but mine’s Youmian) and it was surprisingly good😍 Fried dumpling (锅贴) paired well with the noodle💯

Started Jxeats (used to call Sacarsticfoodblog) on Jan 2016. I had a very bad iced tea, literally just ice and tea, zero sweetness. So it was purely just for fun to recommend it to others to try it, sacarstically...thus sacarsticfoodblog😂 Love to cafe hop and high tea a lot during 2016, so I also created another Ig account @hightea_insg, however it’s kinda dead now☹️ I still enjoy food posting alot up till this day.
This year, I got some opportunities to go for some media invite/food tasting to: V dining , Zoey’s Diner and Bubble tea factory and joined two awesome food community @tiktok.singapore and @xindots_sg.
Thank you all for the invites, appreciate it 🙏🏻💖 Looking forward to 2020, hope to eat more good food and be able to share more good stuff here. Also hopefully can revive hightea_insg next year. Suitable for family/big groups. Cny is coming, can consider trying Aone. I like their congee but this time decided to try other dishes. Had Hotplate Clam Abalone noodle and Braised rice with Clam Ablone. Technically both my order is the same jus one is noodle and one is rice 😂 prefer the rice version. Some dishes to try: Handmade beached with chai po in Hk style sauce, Claypot dried chili frog’s meat and all their congee.

It’s really affordable and good. Better than several jap casual restaurant in Sg and the bill usually cost the same, just different currency. I always overeat until food coma here😂 Some recommendation: Aburi Salmon Maki, Nabeyaki, Udon, Sashimi is thick and fresh and Tonkatsu with egg and rice set. Don’t forget to ask for complimentary pudding at the end of ur meal.
Do visit when you are in Johor!

Nearest outlet to Jb checkpoint: Pelangi and Mount Austin. Expect long queue during dinner time.
